  • What does hustle like a mother mean to you?
    • To me, there’s so many different elements that shift once you become a mom – in business and life and everything that you do. And so hustle like a mother means you have to figure out a whole new way to still be successful while having time for your life. Because that’s one of the biggest things that every mom goes through is that they’re totally crunched for time. So hustle like a mother to me is like, if you’re ambitious and you want to go after something, you could have both, you just have to stop playing by the old rules and the old school corporate world.
  • I want to hear more about your story and your business journey and where you were in your career and your motherhood.
    • I had my second son and I was offered a really good six figure salary job to come back to at that same insurance brokerage. I thought, if I go back this time, I know I’m not going to get out. So my husband was like, well, why don’t you go talk to someone about it? You know, everybody else thinks you’re nuts. I don’t think you’re crazy. I think you should go talk to somebody about it. And so basically I went to see a psychologist and we did this exercise  which was like, write down everything that you want, not like materially, but like who you want to be, how you want to feel down the road, like all those kinds of things, brain dump it.
    • I’m going to make a decision here to go after what I really want or what I think I should want. And so I decided to throw everything away, there was something out there bigger for me. And I ended up landing in network marketing because I fell in love with the idea of the limitless income and working from home
    • Along the way, I just kept hearing the message over and over – you’re a coach, you need to be a coach, you’re so good at coaching. I ended up doing a health coach program and I didn’t want to show up and teach gut health everyday anymore. I wanted to follow what actually fires me up and gives me energy every day, which is talking to women about possibilities and about online business and about marketing and about everything that I do now. So I love to teach other people how to find their fires, what I basically call it, which is like, figure out what you want first.
  • So tell me about the Ambitious Mom Movement.
    • The Ambitious Mom Movement is about how to create income, like six figure plus success online and still have time for your life. And I think there are so many women out there, like you say, hustle like a mother. It’s like, what does that mean to me? It’s like, yes, work a different way. So we can live a different way.
  • What would be your top tips for the moms who are transitioning from a traditional job in order to be home with their kids more?
    • My top tip would be –  figure out what you actually want instead of what you think you should want, figure out how you want to work, how you want to design that. Also get really realistic about how long you want to work before you replace your income.
    • Don’t be scared of what you don’t know because it’s actually not that hard. The piece that’s the most important is your mindset. And then making sure that you’re resourceful. So even if you’re starting with no budget, that’s fine.
  • I want to shift gears a little bit and talk about what’s happening in the world. It’s being dubbed “The Great Resignation.” Have you heard about this? What are your thoughts on it?
    • Well, my initial thoughts are, the demographic that’s quitting the most is 30 to 45 year olds and I’m 39. Now that makes so much sense to me. There are just so many people that throughout the last year and a half to two years have just realized that there’s gotta be more to life than this crazy negative hustle.
    • It’s like so many people are suffering from depression, anxiety, total burnout, adrenal fatigue, exhaustion. I think quality of life is the biggest thing that’s contributing to that just because yeah, like, life’s too short
  • Tell us about all the things you have coming up for Ambitious Mom, your summits, your programs, there’s a lot going on. So kind of fill us in on what’s going on.
    • I have two main things coming up that I’m fired up about. So number one,  I’m launching a group program. It’s a six month program and it is for women, mostly ambitious moms, but other women too, that have been at online business for a couple of years already. And they still feel like there’s that missing piece. So that challenge starts on November 15th.
    • The other thing is in January.  I’ll have my third Ambitious Moms Summit. I think we’re going to talk about how to scale, because there’s a lot of people out there who want to know how would I even set myself up to scale? What kind of mindset do I have to step into to scale?
    • If you go to my website, you’ll find my Find Your Fire Workbook. It’s a free workbook that I created just to walk you through that process, really encourage everyone that is starting a business or is already in business.
  • Where can we find you on the Internet? Where do you hang out?
    • Instagram:
    • Facebook:
    • Facebook is my main platform. My Facebook group is called Ambitious Moms. It’ll be exploding in the next couple of months here with everything I’ve got going on, but I just wanted to create a place where people didn’t have to fake it till they make it. And they really can come in and get no BS advice, connect with people that are going to help them move forward in life and in business, but who also understand that there is a different dynamic when you’re a mom and that it’s okay to build that into your success plan.
