I cannot believe I am writing this today. My third (+ last) baby is turns one tomorrow, and we had the most magical birthday party for her over the weekend. It was absolutely perfect – surrounded by so many of our friends and family. I knew the theme for her birthday the moment we chose her name: Alice. There was never another option besides Alice in Onederland. It could not have been more perfect!!! I hand made most of her decorations, and I’ll link everything I can. But at the very least, let this serve as some awesome Inspo for this party theme!

Alice in Onederland First Birthday Party

This party was seriously so much fun to plan. I ordered her a Onederland romper to wear and it was JUST as cute as expected. When you first walk into “wonderland”, I had giant playing cards and a wonderland sign on the lamp post. I hand painted the big cards on foam board, and cut the Wonderland signs out of poster board. Then, I sketched everything out and went over it with paint! For the signs, I used foam brushes to create the aged wood effect, and then added little butterfly decals to the signs.

The next section of the party was the food and dessert table. We went with a fruit salad, cucumber sandwiches and strawberry lemonade as our food / drink, and then did a sheet cake from Costco, small round smash cake for Alice and decorated sugar cookies from our favorite cookie place, Townhouse Treats. She’s done all of our cookies since Jack’s first birthday.

On the table, I added a moss table runner, a little clock from Michaels, two teapots with white / red roses cut short to fit inside the posts, vintage tea cups from my childhood, little jars with water & food coloring for the “drink me” bottles, a Onederland cake topper, a ONE sign from Party City, and little butterfly and rose decals to the table. I hand made her ONE high chair banner with white, black and gold card stock and hand drew the playing card details.

We decided to put up a big tent over the patio, which made it the PERFECT place to eat, open presents and chat without the sun right on top of us. It’s our first year hosting a birthday party with the tent and it was a great choice.

All in all – we can’t believe our girl is one. She is the spunkiest, happiest, sweetest addition to our family and it is just the biggest joy watching her grow.

We love you so much, Allie Cate.
