The fact that my baby turned THREE last week has absolutely blown my mind. Everyone tells you that it goes by fast – but I don’t think you can really understand the truth of that statement until you blink and your tiny newborn is a full child with opinions and feelings and complete sentences. 😉 We celebrated Jack’s birthday with LOTS of friends, a bounce house and a super fun safari theme! Here are some pictures of the day – plus links to everything we bought to decorate!

YOUNG, WILD & THREE – Jack’s Third Birthday Party!

We booked Cloud Nine bounce houses for Jack’s bounce house – and it was a HUGE hit. They deliver and set it all up, and the kids had an absolutely blast. It was so easy to book, the staff was friendly and quick and the bounce house was clean and ready to jump. We will absolutely be using them again for future events and parties.

We decided not to do a cake this year, simply because it’s not my family’s favorite dessert and it just never gets eaten. We instead went with our favorite sugar cookie company to get gorgeous iced cookies that went with our theme! We use Townhouse Treats and she’s phenomenal. I’ve now used her for at least four or five different events – Jack’s second birthday, Halloween treats, my baby sprinkle for Noah. We LOVE them every time.

The rest of the decor we snagged off Amazon and at Target! Here’s a short list of what we bought –

For his birthday this year, we also made a ‘no presents’ rule for guests. Instead, we asked everyone to just come, enjoy and celebrate our boy with us. My parents & I got him a few gifts that he opened later, when everyone went home and it was SO nice. In my opinion, it’s just too hard for little kids to watch other kids open gifts, and it puts the birthday kiddo on the spot with having to share all their new things. Pieces get lost or broken, and tears inevitably ensue. It ended up working out great, and not a single tear was shed during the party.
