Happy #BEAUTYMONDAY! I had a very low key weekend with my hubby this weekend and spent a lot of time prepping for my birthday styled shoot I’m doing today with Erin Stubblefield (it’s going to be gorgeous – I cannot wait). She does most of my blog style shots and so the opportunity to collaborate again on something so fun is going to be fabulous. I’m turning 23 in 12 days and I’m totally counting down. Forget about 12 days of Christmas — IT’S THE 12 DAYS OF BIRTHDAY MONTH. I decided to do this look to celebrate Pantone’s 2018 color of the year – Ultra Violet. It turned out slightly more pink than I anticipated but I loved the look so much that I am rolling with it anyways. It can be done with any combination of colors – it’s the technique that counts! Let’s go ahead and dive in:

Purple Cut Crease Tutorial - Pantone's 2018 Color of the Year

I honestly wasn’t the BIGGEST fan of Pantone’s 2018 color of the year when it first came out – it seems flat and kind of boring so instead of doing a look with traditionally matching colors to the Pantone look, I chose some pretty colors that coordinate with the color and flatter my skin tone and eye color!

  1. Gorgeous colors, girl! I’m dridbitely feeling these vibes for the new year. Loved the makeup look you have.

  2. This look seriously could not be any prettier. I’m naturally drawn to purple shades since they accent my dark chocolate-brown eyes! I gotta try this cut-crease look out soon!
