Happy #beautymonday, everyone! I hope you are having an EXCELLENT Labor Day weekend. Adam and I have been tackling some of our home projects like cleaning out our garage and attic, organizing our basement and picking up some yard equipment we desperately needed (like a weed whacker, among other things). We also finally got a garage freezer so I can start storing my frozen breastmilk somewhere other than where our ice cream is supposed to go. LOL. SO. Today, I am going to be sharing a very exciting launch with you from one of my all-time favorite brands: Physicians Formula. They just came out with their Organic Wear collection and honestly is FIRE. I am so excited to share with you an overview of the collection, which products I’m MOST excited about using (and how I like them so far) and swatches!!! This is going to be a long post (but highly requested) so grab a snack and let’s do this!
Physicians Formula Organic Wear Swatches + First Impression Review
This post is sponsored by Physicians Formula. All opinions are mine and mine alone.
Just a little tidbit before we get started: all of these products are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, paraben-free, oil-free, dermatologist tested, clinically tested, cruelty-free and vegan.
Skincare:
This mask is infused with meadowsweet – a natural beta-hydroxy that gently removed dead, rough skin. It also has organic mongongo oil (a vitmain E-rich oil that protects and moisturizes skin), organic Aloe vera, and organic rhodiola extract (an antioxidant-rich extract that reduces fine lines and wrinkles).
This mask brightens, firms, lifts and refreshes your skin for a naturally glowing complexion. Raise your hand if that sound amazing to you? *waves frantically* This product is $15.99 so it won’t break the bank. I really liked the way it felt on my skin and I’m sure with repeated use you would see the benefits of the active ingredients.
I am not usually a fan of cleansing oils because I already have oily skin – so this one isn’t my favorite product of the line. However – if you are someone with normal-dry skin type, I think you’ll really love it. It definitely adds a TON of moisture into your skin and has a lot of really good-for-you ingredients such as chamomile, aloe Vera, cactus flower, jojoba oil and rosehip oil. This product is $13.99.
It’s great for clogged pores and sensitive skin. I did find it removed my makeup REALLY easily and reduced my need for scrubbing at my delicate eye skin.
This is another one I would recommend for those of you with normal-dry skin! If you already have super oily skin, you can certainly try it out, but it isn’t one I will incorporate daily into my routine. More likely, I’ll put this into my winter skincare line up and use it sparingly. It has the key ingredients of mongongo oil and rhodiola extract, which work together to protect, moisturize and improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It does melt nicely into the skin and softens any dry areas. This product is $15.99.
I looooooove this product. This is going high up on my favorite products of 2019 list. I have SUPER dry lips. They flake and peel daily, and it’s even worse if I wear any kind of lipstick (but especially liquid lipstick). I use this lip scrub to exfoliate my lips prior to any kind of lip product and it helps smooth out the flakes and provides an even application.
The key ingredients are rosehip oil, coconut oil, raw sugar, and shea butter. It’s the perfect base for any kind of lip product. This product is $10.49.
This. Primer. Is. Bomb. It isn’t silicone-y so it doesn’t feel thick on the skin. It melts into your skin like a moisturizer but smooths fine lines prior to makeup application. The key ingredients are aloe Vera, cactus flower and jojoba oil. It hydrates my skin so that foundation and concealer don’t stick to any dry patches. It’s smells nice and the bottle feels high-end. This product is $15.99.
This facial spray feels SO fresh on your skin. I have been using it as a dewy setting spray after I powder my face to melt all my powder products into my skin together. The ingredients are SO good: Marula oil, botanical hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, ginger root extract, aloe Vera and a mixture of rosehip oil, cactus flower, geranium flower oil, and ylang ylang flower oil.
It’s a product I’ll definitely take traveling on planes when I need to refresh my bare skin. It provides a ton of intense moisture without feeling oily and plumps skin so you visibly look more hydrated. This product is $16.99.
Makeup:
Guys. GUUUYS. I am so far obsessed with this foundation. It’s got sheer buildable coverage, so I do need to do quite a bit of acne concealing but it looks amazing throughout the day. No cakey-ness, no settling into fine lines. It gives a really nice dewy finish.
The foundation range is also really inclusive – with 12 shades ranging from fair to deep/rich. I think there is a nice mix of light to dark colors without 75% of the shades being fair to medium. This product is $15.99.
Sculpting Bronzer + Dewy Highlighter
Both of these products have the same key ingredients: aloe Vera, cactus flower, jojoba oil, and natural Indiana senna seed. They are creamy and provide a TON of pigment upon application. I would definitely be light handed on the bronzer – it delivers a PUNCH. The highlighter is the opposite – I needed to be a little heavier handed on that product. They are both $11.99!
I really liked this but it is SUPER easy to be heavy handed with it! My advice is to use as little as you can and slowly add to your desired color. My favorite shade is pink berry – it’s a rosy pink with a slight shimmer to it! If you don’t like a little bit of sparkle, these probably aren’t for you. I personally don’t mind glittering a bit. The ingredients here are Aloe vera, cactus flower, jojoba oil and super fruits cranberry and blueberry! They are VERY easy to blend and seem to last longer than powder blush does for me! This product is $13.49.
These gels aren’t my fave. They do come in several colors, and the clear brow gel isn’t terrible! I wish the brush wasn’t QUITE so tiny. The product itself is pretty good, but it was hard to get it to comb through my brows without it sticking and clumping just a bit. I ended up using the spoolie on the end of my brow pencil to comb it through! That seemed to work totally fine. In addition to the Aloe vera, cactus flower and jojoba oil – this also contains organic coconut oil (which is super good for your brow hair). This product is $12.49.
I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE LINERS. I’m not going to lie: I didn’t think I’d like them. I’m so picky with liners and I feel like I’ve been generally disappointed with most eyeliners lately. I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I liked these. Both the black and the brown go on in nice, even strokes (no patchiness) and they dry down satin-matte. I didn’t notice any flaking or lifting during the day nor did I notice any smudging post-application. This product is made with aloe Vera, cactus flower, jojoba oil, and chamomile oil and it is $12.49.
This mascara isn’t my favorite. I liked the brush, but I didn’t feel like it did a particularly good job at defining my lashes so that I felt comfortable not wearing any falsies. The formula is nice with a lash boosting complex and olive extract. If you want something really natural, this would definitely be for you. I like something with a little more oomf. This product is $10.49.
I LOVED this mascara! It was super black and really defined each of my lashes. The brush was a little tough to get on my lower lashes without smudging but it can be done with a careful hand. This formula has a lash boosting complex, natural silk cotton and natural fibers to build length on the end of your lashes. It really lengthens AND volumizes. I’m a fan. This product is $10.49.
This lash boosting mascara has lash boosting complex and soybean are the key ingredients. I don’t like it as much as the fake out mascara but I do like it more than the natural origin mascara. It’s got a nice, dark black shade and coats the lashes well. I found this one smudged a little more post-application than both of the other ones. It did add nice volume, but not so much length. This product is $10.49.
Ok. I have been really stoked about this product because their original lip treatment is my all time favorite lip balm. I literally keep one everywhere: my bathroom, my office, my diaper bag, my car, the living room, on my vanity…I am never more than like 10 ft away from the original. I REALLY like this version of the lip balm (not QUITE as much as the original but it’s still really great). It’s conditioning and smells really nice. It’s just not quite as soft or shiny as my fave. It’s one I’ll keep on hand and it does has lots of great ingredients: jojoba oil, coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E. This product is $8.49.
I REALLY like these. They are tinted lip balms and I have been using the shade Tawny Nude for several days now. They give just the slightest bit of color to your lips, moisturize and smell really yummy. I love that it feels like I can use this when I really am going for a super minimal makeup look and it isn’t too little and it isn’t too much. It has the same active ingredients as the plain lip treatment above! You can get these shades for $9.49.
This lipstick is VERY smooth and velvet-y, just like it’s description. The colors pack a TON of punch. I anticipated them to be a little bit more sheer but they are VERY full pigment (which I am personally a fan of). They are creamy and smooth – definitely not matte and they do not dry down. They last about as long as a typical cream lipstick – pretty well if you aren’t eating or drinking but expect to reapply if you are doing a lot of that. That is super normal for a lipstick like this! I love that they are easy to reapply and have a nice shape to them. The key ingredients are the same as the lip treatment so they are very moisturizing and I didn’t notice any flaking of my lips after using them. This product is $9.49.
This line overall is one of my favorites Physicians Formula has ever done. I love that it’s natural and organic. It makes me feel better about using the products while breastfeeding and just in everyday life in general. I think the packaging is a step up from what PF usually does, which makes it feel higher end than the typical drugstore product. The products themselves seem to weigh more which in turn makes it feels fancier in your hand. AND I don’t feel like quality is diminished simply because the product is natural. I didn’t LOVE every single product, but I am really pleased with how many of them I DID love. I would highly recommend testing at least a few of these products out yourself!

Which bronzer shade do you prefer?
I like the shade Toffee!!
This post was months ago but I’m trying to figure out my shafe in the foundation. The color on the left that you swatched looks like it would match me but I literally cannot figure out based on the digital pictures from Physician’s Formula. Do you remember what the shade name is for the leftmost swatch? Thanks!
Hey girl! Yes! The shades left to right were: Fair, Fair to Light, Light. I hope that helps!
