IT’S IS ALMOST CHRISTMAS MONTH. WHaaaaat? I want to know where the heck 2019 has gone. It is FLYING. My baby is almost 5 months old (lol wut), and I am beyond ready to go FULL FORCE holiday cheer. It’s Jack’s first Christmas and I am just feeling way magical. Anyways. I feel like I tried a GAZILLION new things this month and it was so hard to narrow all my favorites down to 10. But I did my best. Let’s dive into this.

NOVEMBER 2019 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS

Kypris – Antioxidant Dew Quench & Glow Serum

Oof. I really really REALLY REALLY wish I didn’t love this. It is highly annoying considering the price tag attached to it. This is a $90 serum (HIGH YIKES). I got it in my Boxycharm Box this month and….I made the mistake of trying it out and falling in love with it. It is a highly moisturizing serum that gives me a lit-from-within, dewy complexion. I look hydrated, my fine lines aren’t as noticeable, my skin texture is soft and smooth (even taking my acne into consideration). I know with skincare, the price tag often means you are getting a better product. Aka: the fact that I am now getting HEAVILY into skincare is dangerous for my wallet. Long story short, this serum is honestly worth every gosh darn penny and I’m upset about it.

Shearling Jacket

Hi I’ve talked about this jacket approx. A ZILLION times since getting it early October and the love affair is continuing all the way into this month’s obsessions list. #cantstopwontstop. That’s how you KNOW the obsession is REAL. Find out how to style it three ways HERE and take a cursory glance through my instagram page to see just how much I wear it. I think it’s sold out online now, but I’ll link up some similar ones from Amazon that are just as cute and warm.

Cream Sweater Dress

Oooooo. An Amazon FAVORITE. This is making it onto my 2019 Amazon favorites list, too. I LOVE this sweater dress. It is SO SOFT (not itchy at all), chunky knit and just the right length. It isn’t so short that I feel awkward wearing it, but it isn’t so long that it looks like too much fabric. This dress is also super affordable at only $45. It would be PERFECT for Thanksgiving or Christmas parties! 10/10 recommend.

Nail Art from PAINT Luxury Nail Bar

Another thing I haven’t been able to stop talking about: Paint. I just featured them in my last #smallshopsunday instagram feature and I haven’t stopped talking about them in weeks. I have got THREE TIMES since the beginning of October. It’s a fume-free, toxin-free salon and they have incredibly talented nail artists working there. Savannah is one of the best (she did my tortoiseshell nail style) and I am constantly blown away by her talent. It’s a small, woman-owned business and it’s worth all your $$$$$.

Tush Baby Strapless Baby Carrier

THIS THING IS THE COOLEST. I am shocked I’ve never heard of it before. One of my favorite things about my job is I get to test out new products and this thing is at the top of my list. It is a strapless carrier and doubles as a diaper bag. It fits just enough stuff for a small outing and it takes all the pressure off your lower back when holding your baby. You can hold them four ways: facing you, facing out, on the hip or laying down. Jack likes to snuggle in when I hold him facing me and it’s so nice to keep stocked in the car when you need it. Love.

Lemon Bug Personalized Jewelry

Lemon Bug!! I can’t say enough awesome things about this lady. This shop has a mission that brings tears to my eyes in the BEST way. It was born out of the idea that jewelry should be a celebration of the things we love – not just something you wear. Every purchase helps a dog in need because $1 from each order goes to their favorite dog rescue. The name of their shop actually comes from their rescue pit (another thing dear to my heart because Archer is a rescue pit mix, too). The jewelry is 100% customizable and is stamped with love, meaning and memory. They like to say their jewelry is handmade “with love + a lick (puppy kisses)”. My necklace stack is two of their necklaces together, the sky choker and the wrapped in love necklace (more about those coming soon). These will make amazing gifts this holiday season.

Happy Camper Co. STL MO Sweatshirt

This sweatshirt is a FAVE. It’s SO SOFT and SO lounge-y. I can’t stop wearing it. I talked about it in this blog post AND on my most recent #smallshopsunday. This shop is so sweet – and the owners are AWESOME. If you are a Missouri or midwest native – you need to check them out.

PIXI Milky Mist Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spray

This stuff has been my go-to facial spray lately! I use it as a priming spray after all of my morning skincare and before I apply my makeup. It has hyaluronic acid (a favorite ingredient of mine) for hydration and visibly plumps up the skin prior to makeup application. It feels very refreshing, too.

Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara

Alright. Another product I didn’t think I was going to like AT ALL and yet here I am. I am pretty staunchly against any MLM products on a personal level. I’ve tried them out, and for the most part my opinion is that the products are overpriced for the quality and the companies take advantage of their reps.  My opinion hasn’t change much on that front – HOWEVER: I got this mascara at an influencer event I went to earlier this year and just now tried it out. I am sold. It is a deep black formula and it curls, lengthens and volumizes my eyelashes. For real. I am SHOCKED. Literally one of THE best mascaras I have ever tried and I’ve tried a LOT. I am going to have to now figure out where to buy it once it runs out because now that I’m not wearing a lot of false eyelashes, I need a mascara that does exactly this.

Oreo Peppermint Bark Cookies

So, Adam and I did this date night where we each got $5 and 20 minutes in Target to find each other a gift and then we got dessert afterwards. It was super silly and so fun. The gift Adam picked out for me was Oreo Peppermint Bark Cookies. Now, I’m a BIG fan of the Oreo mint cookies, so I figured I would like these, too and I was NOT WRONG. The best part about these, though is the fact that they have actual peppermint bark crunch in them. Moral of the story: do yourself a holiday favor and pick these up before they’re gone for the year. You can thank me later.

WHEW. This month was full of so many awesome things, small shops, delicious snacks and surprising faves. What have you been loving this month?!? Let me know in the comments below!
