A few weeks ago, my dermatologist recommended introducing a light moisturizer into my morning routine so that I didn’t have SUCH heavy acne products on my face all day every day. I asked if Dime Beauty would be a good one to try (I had been dying to try them – but because of my strict acne routine, I hadn’t pulled the trigger yet), and my derm said to go for it after looking at the ingredients! Since then, we’ve added a few more products into my routine on my “off-days”. Let’s dive in!

Gentle Jelly Cleanser – HIT!
OK, I have been loving this. I have introduced it just three times a week when I’m not using my acne cleanser. I use it at night before bed and it’s SO calming and gentle on my skin. No irritation or increase in my acne.
Super Skin Toner – MISS!
I did not love this. It did cause tightening of my skin, which is normal, but I found my skin just wouldn’t relax after I put it on, even after moisturizer. It seemed to dry my skin out more than other tones I have used.
Dewy Day Cream – HIT!
This was actually the very first Dime Beauty product I introduced into my routine. I LOVE IT. It’s better than a dewy skin primer and I use it every single morning. It’s wonderfully hydrating and is the perfect makeup base.
Restorative Night Cream – HIT!
I have been using this every evening because my skin was drying out too much with all my acne products. It is SO hydrating, calms redness and irritation and feels really yummy on my skin. It is also nearly scentless which I appreciate in my skincare.
Hyper Glow Serum – MISS!
I love me a good hyaluronic acid serum – but I didn’t like this one. It is also supposed to brighten skin, but I didn’t really notice a big difference. I like my other serums better and they work better on my acne spots.
Eyelash Boost Serum – HIT!
This eyelash serum actually brought my eyelashes back from the dead. I’m OBSESSED. I wore false lashes for almost 4 years in a row – and they ripped my natural lashes to shreds. I have been using this each night for about 5 months now, and my lashes are better than they EVER have been!
