HAPPY FRI-YAY! Today’s monthly obsession post is coming one week earlier than usual BECAUSE I am taking a break all of next week to be with my family. No blog posts, minimal instagram content and no Facebook posts. I need the break for my mental health and sanity and I hope that everyone else is off of their phones and computers hanging out with their loved ones, too. So. No need for new content nobody is going to read. 😉 I decided to do something different this month for Monthly Obsessions and go through ALL of my MO’s for the entire year of 2019 and see what I’m still totally in love with. These products are ones that I STILL use + love to this day (so you KNOW they’re the real deal and if you haven’t jumped on them yet – what the heck are you waiting for???) Let’s dive into this.
December 2019 MONTHLY OBSESSION – ROUND UP!
Blush Pink Adidas Superstars (January fave)
These are still one of my absolute favorites! I wear them all the time. They are so comfortable and they are the perfect sneaker when you are running around but still wanna look cute.
True Crime Documentaries + Podcasts (February fave)
This is going strong. I’ve been pretty obsessed for about a year now with true crime. From Crime Junkies to Bailey Sarian’s Murder Mystery + Makeup Monday, Kendall Rae’s True Crime videos and every Netflix and Hulu documentary out there. Still into it. Not slowing down.
Dr. Scholls Leopard Mules (April fave)
STILL A FAVE. I love love love these. They are comfortable and so cute and pretty much appropriate for every day of the year. 10/10.
Chocolate Malts (April fave)
mmmmm. These were a big craving during pregnancy – and they’ve stuck around. I love them. There aren’t a ton of places around here to get a REALLY good malt so when I am somewhere where they make a good one – I have to get it.
Knotted Headbands (June fave)
I have a few colors in these now but my favorites are my black pearl headband and my silky pink headband. They are really popular right now and so cute!
Flesh Beauty Hot Sauce Lipgloss in 310 (July fave)
YESS. This lipgloss formula quickly became one of my all-time favorites. It’s so glossy and shiny, it’s not sticky AT ALL. This nude shade is fantastic, too. It is the perfect shiny nude to go with every outfit.
Square nail shape with gel polish (July fave)
Still rocking this to this day! I just switch up my colors. I am wearing the square shape a little bit longer these days (I like when they look like short acrylics but are actually my nails). I have a shiny black polish with a tortoiseshell accent nail right now – but next week I’m getting new Christmas nails!
Dermalogica Age Bright Spot Fader + Active Clearing Serum (August fave)
This has been the only thing that has helped my acne lately. I’ve been on this little duo for a few months now and I do feel like when I am consistent with it, it really does help. I use it twice a day with all of my other products and I can tell a difference when I don’t use it.
Flesh Beauty Liquid Foundation (August fave)
I still use this foundation every single day pretty much. It’s medium to full coverage and the shade 05 is my perfect color!! It sits beautifully on my skin, melts nicely in with my other makeup and doesn’t rub off patchy during the day.
Dr. Scholls Snakeskin booties (September fave)
I swear I wear these at least once a week. SOOOO CUTE. They are incredibly comfortable, absolutely darling and very on trend for the moment right now.
eMeals Meal Prep App (September fave)
Adam and I use this every week!! We still LOVE this app. We are always pleasantly surprised with how delicious the meals are and how easy they are to recreate. We have 3-4 meals a week from the app and we can’t get enough. If you are looking to simplify your dinners during the week, this is for you.
Blush Gucci belt bag (October fave)
Yeah. This is definitely going to be a favorite for a loooong time. It was gifted to me and I am obsessed with it. I have never owned anything super luxury before so I feel so fancy and excited when I wear it. If you are looking for a Christmas splurge – this is it!
Lily Jade Caroline diaper bag (October fave)
I LOVE this diaper bag!!! This is one of my favorites. It has enough room to fit everything, looks pretty and chic, and is a backpack style so you aren’t trying to carry a baby, a carseat and a purse bag. It is easy to fill without feeling overwhelmed, fits EVERYTHING you’d ever need when carrying around a tiny human, and it looks so trendy. I love that it’s black so it’s neutral and it matches literally everything. The leather is SO luxurious and feels very luxe. I’m complimented every time I use it.
Shearling Jacket (November fave)
Yup. STILL LOVE THIS. I wear this several times a week. This jacket is one of the best. It’s great quality, from a small shop in St. Louis, and so on trend and cute.
