Hi-ya, friends! Today is a SUPER special day because I start my new job as the Digital Marketing Manager for Pulse Fashion (aka my dream job). I am SOOOO excited to be able to share my talents and work with a team of really wonderful people. I’ll be sharing more on this later so stay tuned! Next on the agenda for today: although my birthday isn’t TECHNICALLY until the 19th (TOMORROW), I celebrated with my family last night. I put together 4 party outfits for you ladies who have January birthday’s like myself (although it honestly could work with any birthday. I’m just partial to my fellow Capricorns). Let’s jump into it.

This is the dress I wore the day of my party. I’ve worn it before for you guys, so if you need coaxing into buying one just like it, please read this post: HERE.  I 100% jumped on the gold balloon band wagon. I’ve been waiting months for it to be my birthday so that I could have a reason to get them. LOL.

Girlie Girl (aka The Taylor)

I love the floral body-con type dresses because they are super flattering on my body shape. Another alternative for this girlie-girl look would be an A-line dress, which tends to flatter a TON of body shapes! I paired it with booties, a black watch and my favorite branch necklace.

Edgy Babe 

This was me on New Years Eve but dang would it work as a birthday outfit. If you plan on going out on the town for your birthday, something flashy is going to be right up your alley. Pair a sequin top with faux leather leggings to really steal the show.

Boho Chic

If you are like my sister, you should have been born in the 70s. Grab those flowy maxi dresses and long chain necklaces to pair with a floppy felt hat. I love how free-flowing and happy this look is. Maybe you’ll attend a music festival for your birthday!!

  27. I ALWAYS drag my birthday celebrations out as long as possible – so I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’m definitely the kind of person who loves to rocky the edgy look! I love wearing my leather jacket and heels and feeling BA!
