Hello, blog fam! I am so glad to see you back again this week (or welcome — if this is your first time hanging out with me)!! In case you were not aware based on the title of this blog post — IT IS MY BIRTHDAY WEEK. What’s a birthday week, you ask? It is an entire week all about me. Because it’s my birthday. I believe everyone should have birthday weeks. Anyways — this week my birthday is on Thursday so I am celebrating in FULL FORCE. I turn 22 in 3 days. Who said I was allowed to grow up, huh? To kick on Birthday Week with a bang, I’m showing you one of my FAVORITE looks using the Tarteist Pro Palette (what’s new lol). It’s full glam because — it’s my birthday and I can. Let’s jump right into this.

I have been really loving the full-glam “instagram” makeup looks lately. It can be a little over-the-top for the average girl but considering I’m a little over-the-top anyways, it works for me. That is 90% of the reason I chose this particular look to ring in my 22nd year on earth. #I’mextra

**Side note: I really wanted to film this as a tutorial for you guys but due to my lack of proper lighting in our new apartment, my attempt at a tutorial was a disaster to say the least. As soon as I get all set up with lighting and my camera, I will film this as a tutorial!!**

Honestly, Tarte has seriously stepped up their game this past year and I’m not mad about it (lookin’ at you Shape Tape Concealer).   9. Birthday weeks are awesome! I’m actually going to be doing one for my husband this year (which he doesn’t know about… shh). So happy early birthday! Totally feel old now considering that I’m only 11 years older. Lol. Hope it is a blast.

    I don’t know what I prefer. I stink at doing makeup so the idea of Insta Glam is exciting and yet very scary. Trust – there was a weird time where I almost glued an eyelash to NOT my eyelid. Sigh.

    But, I can’t do all natural…. so… both? In the middle? Having tea with one another?!

    That palette looks wonderful by the way.

    1. You are so cute Chel!!! I think you should absolutely GO for the instaglam. There was a time in my life where I was TERRIBLE at applying makeup. It just takes practice and a little guts. Even now I sometimes try new looks and hate them!!! It’s totally ok as long as you try. 🙂
