SO – I’ve had Stitch Fix for years so when I saw an ad for Wantable on my Facebook page – I was immediately intrigued. I am a subscription box JUNKIE and the outfits looked super cute. I haven’t had Stitch Fix for a hot minute and I was looking for a new clothing subscription that wouldn’t totally break the bank. SO now that I’ve had Wantable for 4 months now, I feel like I can give you a good idea on whether or not I’d recommend the service as a whole. Let’s jump into it.
WANTABLE STYLE EDIT: Is it worth the $$?
HOW IT WORKS:
CHOOSE YOUR EDIT
Basically, you select the edit you want to be a part of (style, active or men’s) and take the quiz to let Wantable know what kind of styles you like and the prices. THEN, the Wantable stylists pick the perfect pieces based on your quiz results. You pay a $20 styling fee but that $20 is applied toward anything you buy from your edit!
YOUR EDIT ARRIVES
You get 5-7 days to try on the seven items you receive (from the comfort of your home). Once you try them on, you only pay for what you love and then return/exchange the rest!
FREE RETURNS & PICK-UP
Wantable gives you free shipping with drop-off/pick-up. There’s no commitment either, you can get the subscription month or whenever you want!
DO I LIKE IT?
I seriously LOVE the boxes. I actually like Wantable better than Stitch Fix. I think the quality is better on the pieces and the prices are better overall, too. I think the style in Stitch Fix is a little bit trendier, while the style in Wantable is a bit more staple / classic. I have gotten several pieces in my Wantable box that I KNOW I will literally keep until they fall apart, whereas I couldn’t tell you anything in my closet currently that was a Stitch Fix piece.
As far as recommending this box – I would say YES. Not only do I subscribe to the style edit, but I also subscribe to the active edit for work clothes and athleisure. I have loved BOTH boxes and will continue to subscribe for the time being!
I also love that I can be really picky about the price of the items I receive. I know I’d spend more on denim than, say, a t-shirt, so I can specifically choose which items I’d pay more for! AND I can put a cap on the items that come in my box so nothing will ever come that would be over my budget.
You can SIGN UP HERE if you want to take the plunge and test it out!!! since your $20 styling fee goes towards whatever you end up purchasing, you really have nothing to lose!!
