Happy FRI-YAY! Over the last 6 months, I’ve gotten into a really good routine with my vitamins, supplements, and workouts. I never used to be someone who cared about that kind of stuff, but the older I get the more I see the value in really truly taking care of your body from the inside out. I am on a really great routine consisting of a regular vitamin regimen, a protein + collagen shake I drink each day and a workout routine that supports overall body health. Let’s dive into it.

CURRENT HEALTH ROUTINE: WORKOUT, VITAMINS, SUPPLEMENTS + MORE

VITAMINS: Care/Of

So I’ve been using for several months now and I don’t see myself ever going back, if I’m being completely honest. I LOVE Care/Of. Not just because it comes in a cute little box + biodegradable packages with your daily vitamins individually separated for you (although you guys KNOW I’m a SUCKER for packaging) – but because after doing a lot of research on the brand, I feel really good about the quality of vitamins they send and the brand mission as a whole.

My current vitamin line up is: Prenatal, Fish Oil, and Ashwagandha. I take the prenatal as a multivitamin and so that hopefully at some point if we get pregnant again, I will be already prepared. The fish oil is to help hair, skin, and nails. The Ashwagandha is for energy and stress reduction.

BONUS: you can actually get using the code TAYLORM50!

SUPPLEMENTS: Care/Of

For supplements, I am currently taking an immunity booster powder and collagen powder. I take the immunity booster once a week and the collagen every day and also drink a protein drink every day or after a workout. I don’t get enough protein in my diet regularly AND the protein powder I use contains superfoods and other really awesome ingredients I just am not super great at getting in myself. Usually, I add the collagen powder to my protein drink so I get 2 in 1. If I am not working out one day, I will replace a meal with a protein shake (almost always breakfast).

WORKOUTS: Peloton

I have actually done a whole blog post on whether or not I think the Peloton bike is worth it but long story short: it is for me. I’m OBSESSED with it. The community, the workouts, the exclusivity. All completely up my alley. I am not someone who looks forward to working out so when I have something that excites me, it’s really good for my physical and mental health. I got my bike for my birthday this year and I would say it’s been worth every penny. I’ve been on the bike at least 3 times a week since buying it in January and I actually look forward to it. I do classes with my friends all across the country and I push myself harder than I would if I had to come up with a workout myself.

This is the current health routine that I have been consistently using for the last 6 months and I’ve seen SUCH a big difference. I feel better, I have more energy. I feel good knowing that if we were to get pregnant, I am already on prenatal vitamins. After our miscarriage last November, I want to make sure I do everything I can to support a next healthy pregnancy. I still have some cystic acne, but over time with my dermatologist recommended skincare routine and my supplements that support clear skin, I think it’s getting better.
