Happy, #HALLOWEENBEAUTYMONDAY. I had to change my hashtag up because I was so excited I couldn’t help myself. IT IS OCTOBER. And that means a whole line of Halloween makeup tutorials are coming your way. To start off, I am doing my Dias De Los Muertos Sugar Skull tutorial. This is always super popular around Halloween. A) It is so pretty B) it is also really freaking cool. SWEET. So now that we have that out-of-the-way, let’s jump into this.

I got the chance to review some awesome makeup brushes and matte lipsticks by Bdellium Tools and I use them in my video below! I will be linking to them at the bottom of the page!
I had SO MUCH fun filming and editing this video. If you know me at all — you know that Halloween, a sugar skull and anything even remotely spooky has my name written ALL OVER IT. I hope you enjoyed! Below are the links (as promised) to the matte lipsticks and the special effects brush I featured:
Bdellium Matte Lipsticks: Wait For It // Last Call
P.S. This matte lipstick held up all day, didn’t dry my lips out and has great pigmentation. I can’t wait to try the purple one! This is the perfect deep burgundy.

I have never seen this for Halloween, only for Dia de Los Muertos. You did a lovely a depiction here. Having lived in San Diego, Dia de Los Muertos was widely celebrated and I always admired the sugar skull makeup!
To clarify – I read you were doing the Dia de Los Muertos tutorial 🙂 . I had just never seen anyone do it on Halloween; sorry if that didn’t make sense!
No problem girl! My husband lived in Mexico for two years and he really loves the culture — I am learning to love it too!
One thing I love about Halloween is the makeup!!! You did a great job girl!!! I may have to try this out on myself!
Thanks Mistle!

Looks so fun! My daughter is still in the Princess Stage, but I could see her enjoying this look too. I am going to see what she thinks 🙂
I was in the princess phase for 18 years 😉 But I was sold on the glitter in this look!
That is an awesome look! My daughter would love to try this. She is quite the artist too!
I love this so much. We all decided to dress up and go trick or treating with our little ones this year and I have had no idea what I am going to do. This will be perfect. I hope I can pull it off half as well as you did!
I can’t wait to see pictures!!!
I love the glitter in this!
Thanks!!!
I like the scary makeup look. Last Halloween some of friends scared my LO and a couple other kids. This Halloween we are keeping it kid friendly.
How cool! You did a great job with the makeup. I am not good at this, so thanks for sharing the tutorial.
Wow this is so good, amazing colours you’ve used to! Would love to re-create this!
I think this is great for Dia de los Muertos and for Halloween. I love how this makeup looks and how creative you can get with it.
You’ve got such cool ideas! The makeup looks very extravagant and fun for a holiday.
I have always loved this look but have never been able to pull it off. Now I could!
So much glitter and so much fun! I bet this would make quite a statement at a party.
I love how you broke this down for everyone to be able to see exactly how to do this. Love it!
So creative and unique! I have never done it myself but seems like fun and so in the Halloween mood! Brings a twist to the ordinary festivities!
This is so cool. It looks like it would take forever to do but worth it. Perfect for a party!
It only took 20 minutes start to finish!
