Happy #FASHIONWEDNESDAY, y’all! I have been anxiously waiting for today to come around so I could show all of you this outfit. I love fall and sweaters and ripped jeans and booties! So, I finally started my last semester of college this week and it has been CRAZY busy. Luckily, I love school and just know I’m going to really enjoy this semester. Now that the weather is cooling down, I can finally wear my sweaters and scarves. Read on to see how I styled this perfect-for-fall outfit (also, I have a giveaway opportunity at the end of this post so…)

How To Style Ripped Jeans & Cream Sweaters For Fall

TIP ONE: Choose ripped jeans that flatter your body shape.

I love my ripped jeans and honestly, I think everyone should own a pair of their own. But they come in so many different styles that it can be hard to choose the right ones. I bought this pair from American Eagle Outfitters on a clearance sale, but made sure to go down a size that what I usually wear (I am a 4, so I bought a 2). Why? Because I like the legs to be wider than skinny jeans (as expected in boyfriend jeans) but the waist and butt need to be fitted. It is a personal opinion but it is the way I like to fit my boyfriend jeans.

TIP TWO: Choose the right accessories.

I opted for no necklace (a scarf instead) and went straight for the statement earrings. Usually, I don’t stray from some simple bar earrings and my stamped A+T bar necklace, but for this outfit I wanted to add some pizzazz. I was gifted these earrings from the lovely ladies at Versona (keep reading for an awesome giveaway event at the end of this post) and fell in love with their muted colors and 70s vibe. My only complaint is that they are extremely heavy. We actually had one fall out of my ear during the shoot! BUT other than that, these earrings add that something special to my outfit. Versona has some AMAZING statement jewelry (I have talked about some pieces that I’ve bought from them before) for a really unbeatable price.

TIP THREE: The right bag can make all the difference.

I love this Herschel Supply Co. clutch SO much. If you read my post on getting ready to go back to school (which you should…find it here!) then you already know that Herschel Supply has amazing backpacks. But…did you know that they also have purses for every girl’s style? They have clutches, bags and other accessories that are perfect for every lifestyle. Whether college student, busy mom or #girlboss entrepreneur, Herschel has something for everyone. Personally, I chose this gorgeous leather clutch. It is the perfect warm brown for fall and the quality is amazing. Coming from a girl who has exclusively Coach leather bags (I have an unhealthy obsession its FINE), you KNOW it’s good.

TIP FOUR: Slap on a  bold lip.

It isn’t a secret that I am a lipstick junkie. My husband rolls his eyes at me every time I buy another lipstick. “Don’t you already have that color?” he says….silly guy. I need all the lipstick. Anyways. This one is Maybelline Color Sensation Lipcolor in Pretty In Plum. It is one of my favorite colors. I’ve had it for a few years but it lasts forever and the color hasn’t oxidized yet so…go Maybelline! I love that it is a bright punch of purple but it is still dark enough to be perfect for fall. If you are looking for a smooth lip that stays all day long, this is for you!

Well, ladies! That is it! My tips for styling this outfit. And before I forget — a shoutout to my favorite photographer and friend, Michelle Peterson! I love this girl and she does simply incredible pictures. Check out her site and show some love (or book her for your next event — you will NOT be sorry).
