It’s FINALLY FALL (and finally FEELNG like fall) here in the midwest and it’s already the end of the month so it is once again time for MONTHLY OBSESSIONS. I’ve been doing these since 2018 (which is wild) and somehow I always find new things to fall in love with. I love compiling the new things I find and love over the course of each month – so here are the things I am obsessing over from the month of September! Let’s jump into it.
SEPTEMBER 2021 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS
I love this! I already am a big fan and avid user of the eyelash serum from Dime – and honestly just love ALL of their products – but this was awesome. If you are like me, than your eyebrows are NOT OKAY after the plucking fiasco of 2006-2010. I remember getting my eyebrows WAXED regularly to these tiny thin pencil situations. Some brow tech literally let me walk around like that. Ridiculous. ANYWAYS – now I’m trying to grow them back so I don’t have to fill them in quite so much and this is really helping!

1000/10 for these claw clips. They are SO good and SO cute. They come in lots of colors but I personally really like the neutral pink pack. They’re matte and trendy and they are super sturdy. They’re a great price for the amount of clips you get.
While my original flannel color is no longer in stock – the style and fit of this shacket is a total WIN. The cute pumpkin/yellow color is still darling and would be perfect for a pumpkin patch adventure. It’s soft, trendy and can be dressed up or down. I plan on wearing it with my leather leggings when it gets a little cooler!

I am OBSESSED with these. They look so much more expensive than they actually are – and are the perfect way to elevate your space. They are beautiful statement pieces! This is a darling little local shop that has an Anthropologie feel. You can find really unique pieces for your space.
TV SHOW – Only Murders In The Building
I binged the first few episodes and now I have to wait until they are released weekly. If you like true crime – this comedy true crime show will be right up your alley. It stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez and it’s a 10/10.
I love this top! It’s SO cute and perfect for this transitional time where it’s still 80-90 degrees some days, but you still want to FEEL like fall. It’s comfortable for a growing bump and the color is perfect for September/October.
Google Nest Thermostat & Backplate
We love this! We ordered our thermostat last month and a backplate to go with it (we don’t know what color the previous owners painted the walls and I didn’t want to buy a can of maybe-similar paint). We have been slowly transitioning our home into a smart home with our Google tech – we have a Nest doorbell, Nest cams, Google hubs / smart speakers, smart lights and now the Nest thermostat!
Amazon Oversized Boyfriend Jacket
I have worn this jacket for the last 2 years and it’s my all-time favorite jean jacket. It’s an oversized fit and it looks darling with pants, dresses, rompers, etc. I love that it’s big enough to wear over sweaters/sweatshirts in the fall and winter. Plus, it’s affordable and available for 2 day Prime shipping.
Water Replenish Water Dish for Cats
We LOVE this thing. We have our cat food and water in the basement with their litterboxes but because we don’t have a sink in the basement, it was getting annoying going up and down the basement stairs with a full water dish. With this self-replenishing water dish, we can fill the big jug up once a week and the cats have fresh water all week long. We love it!
Declan & Crew Boy Mama Sweatshirt
This is the cutest sweatshirt for any boy mama in your life (or girl mama..or boy and girl mama – all variations are available)! And now that I’m expecting another boy and am super solidified in my current role as a mom to boys, I felt it was perfect. I love Declan & Crew and most of my “mom” attire comes from this shop! The pieces are super high quality and extremely soft.
