Happy Friday, my sweet friends! I have been excited about this post ALL WEEK LONG. On Monday, I posted on instagram asking all my lovely friends (aka you) to ask me your most burning questions! I get a bunch of Q’s on the daily, so I figured I might as well put them all in one place for you. (ya welcome). You asked some AWESOME questions, and I hope I do the answers justice. I got over 100 questions Monday, so I will be condensing a few of them so I don’t take up TOO much of your time. Let’s jump into it.

@ellakatzz asked: How do you keep your makeup so flawless?!

First off — THANK YOU WOW. Second off — I use primer underneath all my makeup every single day, and I also wear Urban Decay’s setting spray overtop! It is the best way to make sure my makeup doesn’t slide off my face during the day.

@thegoldlines asked: How did you start getting collaborations with your blog?

Honestly, they came naturally as Blonde & Ambitious grew organically. I worked hard to make my blog look professional and my social channels as well. They really started coming in once I rebranded last May! I also reached out some myself. 🙂 I hope that helps!

I have a Canon T6i, and my talented husband takes all my pictures! He is AMAZING at it.

We are actually really good friends with our wedding photographer and she took us out and taught us how to use it!!!

@heytherechelsie asked: What do you want readers to walk away with when they read your blog?

This is such a good question. I hope that when people walk away from my blog they feel empowered and feel as though they can take on the world, whatever that may be (makeup, fashion, hair, marriage, etc). I want women to feel better than they did before, and build a community of real friends.

I always need foundation + eyebrows done. If nothing else, I have to have that. I look ridiculous without it, and I have some acne scars that are NO BUENO!

I would love to accomplish earning full time income from my blog!!

THE FRIENDS! #bloguad. But for real — my girl boss besties are amazing and I would be lost without them.

@sammiescub asked: Do you ever get any harsh/rude judgement from your audience and how do you handle it?

I rarely get rude or harsh words from my audience. But on the occasion I do, I do my best to handle it with grace. Some people have nothing better to do than to hate on someone they only know through the internet.

I originally started it as part of a class, but then after that ended, my husband encouraged me to continue as I clearly had a passion for it.

I would say I’m a fun combination of both. I am an extroverted introvert. I am pretty outgoing and fun, but spending a lot of time with a lot of people exhausts me.

It used to take me FOREVER but now it takes less than a minute usually! Just takes practice to get that perfect wing. 🙂

I blog for part time income. 🙂 I work for Pulse Fashion as the digital marketing director as my full time job.

I love that we are so close to so many fun things, like the science museum and the city museum! I love love love being near exciting activities. Check out this post for all my favorite things. 🙂

I prefer FALL! I love summer but my favorite clothing items are in the fall.

I work with all kinds of amazing companies to produce fun sponsored content. I don’t do any ads, so any money I make comes from brand sponsorship or affiliate links. 🙂

My favorite thing is making incredible friends. My #blogsquad is 1 of a kind. I’m so blessed. My least favorite would probably be trying to stay on top of social media trends so I can keep producing relevant content for all my favorite readers (and so you’ll actually see it)!

I taught myself 🙂 I took a makeup class in high school but it focused more on film and theatre makeup. I have watched a LOT of makeup tutorials.

I love my Tarte amazonian clay foundation! It is the BEST.

I love my shiny pink bomber jacket right now! IT IS SO FUN.

I really don’t like the Physician’s Formula cushion foundation! It doesn’t stay on my face AT ALL.

I use iMovie on my MacBook. 🙂

I would love to go to New York City, see a broadway musical and go to a hole in the wall pizza place. 🙂

A good high-end eyeshadow palette, a good foundation, and a brow products.

I think consistency plays a big role in this. I honestly thing that most important thing is putting out good content, and often!

I was blessed with a loving and patient husband. When I was stressed, he stepped in and took care of whatever was stressing me. I am unbelievably grateful for him AND my mother for doing the majority of the big stuff while I was 2000 miles away from my wedding venue.

@tonyamichelle26 asked: What’s a good tip for someone just starting to do eye makeup?

Start with watching a bunch of makeup tutorials. It is super important that you understand brushes and eyeshadow type!

We did a caribbean cruise! IT WAS THE BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE. 10/10 would recommend to everyone ever.

Cue my amazing mother. I planned a college all the way across the country from my venue. My mom basically took my instructions and carried them out while I was at school. She deserves 1000 awards.

Oh boy. The truth is out now. This is fitting for the last question. Time for a truth bomb. Nope, I am NOT actually blonde. EEK. I have light brown hair for reals. But I look MUCH better as a blonde.
