Happy #BEAUTYMONDAY! If you missed the first installment of my #projectnobuy series – you can check it out HERE! I we on a no makeup buying hiatus in September and it’s going through the end of the 2019. I want to use up the products I currently own before buying new products that I don’t really need. I want to actually hit pan on products and get use out of things before they go bad! SO. I’m slowly but surely going through my drawers, picking out my favorites and getting rid of the rest. I can’t wait to become acquainted with my makeup drawers again. Let’s get into this.
#PROJECTNOBUY MAKEUP EDITION: BLUSHES
SO. I decided to keep the following blushes. I actually ended up getting rid of 2/3 of the blushes I had in my drawer. I love how when I finally clean things out I have so much ROOM in my makeup drawers again and can find things. It’s amazing. I have bolded and starred my personal favorites and the ones in my top rotation. Take a look:

If you are looking for some good blush recommendations – I HIGHLY recommend the Colourpop pressed powder blushes and the Urban Decay After Glow blushes. These are probably my FAVORITE blushes. The shade Why Hello from Colourpop is the PERFECT peach shade for spring and summer. It has amazing color payoff and lasts all day. They have LOTS of colors (but obviously I’m not buying any new ones right now so I can’t recommend any of the other colors just yet) to choose from so you can pick one that flatters your skin tone.
The 3 Urban Decay shades are AMAZING variety. The shade Fetish is my perfect color for fall. It’s more mauve-y than pink, so it looks a little darker and moodier for fall and winter. Obsessed is a bubblegum pink and I LOVE it for summer. I wear it very lightly so it’s sheer and it adds such a cute bright pop of pink on my cheeks. Score is VERY similar to NARS Orgasm but a little more orange, so I love this for spring and summer as well. It’s such a great coral shade.
Another good blush for fall and winter is the one included in the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Highlight + Blush palette. I WISH I could buy this as a single. It’s kind of hard to pick up the blush without getting any of the highlight on the brush, but if you can deal with that – the shade is STUNNING. It’s a deep pink-red but isn’t TOO pigmented that it’s scary to wear. Love.
If you like cream blushes – I do recommend the Loreal Infallible Blush Sticks. Both of these shades are STUNNING and so easy to blend out. When I want a dewy look and I don’t want to use powders – these are perfect. They last all day and I believe these would be universally flattering.
AS ALWAYS: I hope that posts like these are helpful for you guys, and I hope that you are able to find new products to test out OR are inspired to go through your OWN drawers and get the most use out of your own products as well. Let’s all try to hit pan this year on our fave things!
What is your holy grail blush??? Let me know in the comments below!
These blushes are gorgeous! I really want to check out the Urban Decay After Glow blushes!
Love all these blushes! I use urban decay!
Urban Decay is amazing!! These flatlays pictured here look awesome, by the way! Thanks for all the links I’ll have to check out these other products, too!

I’ll be honest, blushes are one of the makeup products I haven’t really done much experimenting with. I tend to just purchase the same 2-3 products over and over again, but I’d love to expand my repertoire. The Colourpop one sounds right up my alley, and the Urban Decay cherry palette sounds fabulous too! I’ll have to give those a go soon!
These blushes are so cute! I am always on the hunt for new one!
Kileen
cute & little
Beautiful blushes! I’ll have to check the UD one out, right now my favorites are the Pixi blush in Beachy Rose (I dropped it & it shattered tho!) & the PF Organic Wear Dewy Blush Elixir in Gorgeous Peach. Like you, I’m on a no buy & trying to use up the products I have. They’re never ending!
You shared so many good ones here! Have you tried Milani blushes? They are some of my favorites and they are super affordable too!
I absolutely love a good blush and these are some amazing options!
Honestly, I have so many leftovers and half-used things that I can totally survive without buying anything new, too!
I have been in need of a good blush and these all sound sooo good!
