Happy Thursday, everyone!! Last week, I shared a box FULL of some of my favorite things for baby Jack (check that post out HERE), and now I’m doing the same for all my mama’s out there. I have five awesome products to share with you that are truly game changers for moms and I’m ALL about making life better and easier on the one’s who work so hard for their families. I never knew just how much WAH moms sacrificed until becoming one myself – so when I need a little extra pampering and comfort, here are some of the things I turn to!

Nursing Comfort Balm from Mustela

If you are a breastfeeding mom – you know. The cracked and bleeding nipples, the raw skin, the general discomfort that sometimes comes with nursing your sweet little one. This is one of my favorite nursing balms – and is one that I packed in my hospital bag when I had Jack last summer! It’s a fan favorite of mine and several friends – so you don’t have to just take my word for it.

It’s perfectly breastfeeding safe, and is lanolin-free and vegan. It’s made with olive oil, fragrance-free and dye-free. It also have vitamin E and won’t stain your clothes. #winnerwinner

You can get 20% off the entire Mustela’s website with code BLONDE20!

Nursing Bras from Playtex

It has taken me a hot minute (ahem: six months) of breastfeeding Jack to find nursing bras that fit, are comfortable, look flattering underneath clothing and are easy to pull back to feed my baby. Six. Months. Enter: Playtex. These nursing bras are designed with comfort and support in mind and they aim to make a mama’s life EASIER (hallelujah).

I have two kinds: the crossover sleep bra and the shaping foam underwire bra. The crossover sleep bra is great because it comes in a two pack, has crisscross technology for ease of nursing, is flexible and stretches so that as your size changes (re: that first overnight sleep when you wake up ENGORGED), it still fits. Plus – this bra utilizes Cool Comfort® fabric to keep you cool – which is a plus for me because Jack is like a tiny little human space heater.

Milkflow Lactation Coffee Pods from UpSpring

Ok: I want to start this out by saying I don’t drink coffee – but as that is a very unusual thing for a sleep deprived mom, I wanted to make sure this was included for those of you that DO drink coffee! UpSpring is a brand I love (they make awesome Fenugreek breastfeeding supplements, too) and 100% stand behind.

These coffee pods are the first (and ONLY) lactation coffee pods that contain Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle to promote your breast milk supply. I was so stressed the first three months of Jack’s life because I wanted desperately to make sure I had enough milk for him so I used every supplement in the book. Each serving has 450mg of Fenugreek.

The coffee is gluten-free, 100% plant-based and lactation consultant recommended and the pods are 100% compostable, 100% plant-based AND BPA free.

LiftActiv Peptide-C Ampoule Serum from Vichy

This is my favorite product in the box, I think!! This serum is formulated with ONLY 10 ingredients: 10% pure vitamin C (hello, skin brightening! I use this to help fade my acne scars from pregnancy), Natural Origin Hyaluronic Acid (to hydrate and plump the skin – one of my all-time favorite skincare ingredients), and Plant-based phytopeptides to fight signs of collagen loss (because who doesn’t need that).

It’s dermatologist-grade formula specifically targets those wrinkles, lack of radiance – specifically from being up all night with your little one – and skin firmness. In the first use – you definitely feel more hydrated and firmer. Within 10 days, I was noticing my skin was smoother and more radiant (helps you get that glass skin effect) and within a month, I noticed reduced wrinkles and lighter acne scars form the resurfacing of my skin texture!

Love Without Boundaries – Non-Profit Organization

I wanted to throw in this non-profit because of it’s amazing mission. And if you are looking for something to support a a new mom: this is it. It’s an international charity that provides healing and hope to orphaned and vulnerable children AND their communities. They want to provide education and refuse to children worldwide because their belief is that “Every Child Counts”.

I cried reading their mission because I have such a hard time imagining children just like Jack out there that don’t get the absolute love and adoration he does. The world would be a better place if all babies were as taken care of as he is.

Love without Boundaries has programs in Cambodia, India, Uganda and China – and they’re working on even more projects throughout the world.

I hope that you find some great new products to try this spring with this list – especially the LiftActiv Peptide-C Ampoule Serum (such a great skincare product) and the Playtex nursing bras! I have gone through so many nursing bras trying to find one that provided support and wasn’t super uncomfortable but still made nursing Jack easy. These fit the bill (and the price is right)!
