Happy Friday, friends!! I have starting to pull together some new fall transition pieces to create new fall wardrobe that is conducive to chasing around little ones – I talked to you guys on my IG story a few weeks ago about how I’ve been having a REALLY hard time finding my personal style again after having Jack. You go from being a million lbs and feeling like a whale while you are pregnant, then it takes a while to fit back into your old clothes (if ever), then if you’re nursing, you need to be wearing something with easy boob access, and then maybe you are done nursing but now you have an active and busy toddler you are running behind. You are battling sticky fingers and snacks and runny noses and all the things when you have toddlers – and since that is now that phase I’ve entered, it’s just been so tricky for me to feel myself in my clothes. THAT BEING SAID, I feel like I’ve put together a little fall capsule wardrobe that feels comfortable, cozy, movable and durable. Let’s dive into this.

KEY Fall Transition Pieces (for MOMS)

SHOP THIS POST:

Olive 2-Piece Set – $54

I’m IN LOVE with this 2-piece set for fall. Not only does the top work with pants as an actual outfit, the sweats that it comes with are absolutely darling as a lounge outfit together. The Kardashians would approve.

Striped Rust Dress – $38

This dress adds a little bit of class to this line up! It’s GREAT as a casual piece with sneakers + the denim jacket, but it’s also great with cute sandals and dressy jewelry. 10/10.

Leopard T-Shirt – $17

This has been a staple in my closet for over a year, and was a best-seller from my audience last year! It washes SO well, looks adorable dressed in SO many ways and goes with every pant in this wardrobe. I wear it down, knotted, tucked and French tucked. All ways look fab! We love a versatile top!

Olive Jumpsuit – $30

This jumpsuit is SO STINKING GOOD. I am obsessed – it’s so soft, so flattering and looks super cute on. You can pair it with the denim jacket or wear it alone and it looks adorable with the Kibou bag!

Oversized Denim Jacket – $35

This denim jacket is another best-seller from my audience last year. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my closet probably ever. The quality is JUST as good as my $90 denim jacket and I actually like it way better. It is oversized, but not unflattering. It fits over sweaters and sweatshirts so you can layer in the fall and winter, but looks just as cute over a tank or a tee.

Oversized Tie-Dye Sweatshirt – $33

The one I’m wearing in the pictures below is actually my Taylor Swift folklore merch (10/10 on the quality) but I’ve purchased sweatshirts from this Etsy seller before and this one is SUPER similar with the white/brown tie-dye pattern.

Leather Leggings – $98

These leather leggings ARE actually worth the hype. They’re SO comfortable and 100% my go-to mom uniform. I can chase Jack around no problem and I look adorable the whole time.

Mom Jeans – $38

These mom jeans are the BEST jeans I have in my wardrobe right now. They’re flattering, comfortable and hide any left over “mom pouch” I have from my pregnancy with J. They’re high-waisted and go with everything.

White Cropped Tee – $30

This cropped tee is a really nice, thick material. It isn’t see-through AT ALL. It’s the perfect crop length – just short enough to hit at a flattering position on my hips, and still with enough fabric that I can knot it if I want to.

Grey High-rise Denim – $118

This denim is SO good! It’s super stretchy and comfortable. I’ve been REALLY into grey denim the last two years and I can pair it with so much. It’s definitely a pair of pants that I have on repeat.

Kibou Belt Bag – $89

This isn’t technically a clothing item but I really feel like it needed to be included. I am OBSESSED with this. It’s the perfect size for the age Jack is right now – a couple of diapers + wipes for on-the-go, maybe a change of clothes and enough room for my wallet/phone/keys. It’s PERFECT.

I’m obsessed with how all of these fall transition pieces look separately AND as a transitional capsule wardrobe for fall. They all look really cute together, and total you can actually make 14 complete outfits:

  • Olive 2-piece set (+ Oversized Denim Jacket)
  • Olive Top + Leather Leggings
  • Olive Top + Mom Jeans
  • Striped Rust Dress (alone)
