So…what IS a collective boutique?

According to our dear friend, Google, a collective boutique is a store that features product from several different boutique vendors. Sometimes these business owners have other physical locations or online stores, and sometimes they are makers/designers themselves. They take the best fashion in the area, and put it under one roof.

They make a cohesive and shoppable layout easy for consumers and take the weight of a retail location off the hands of boutiques so they can worry about what they do best: clothing.

Kindred is different because they put all of their shops together. It allows customers to shop the store more easily, by style rather than by store.

What kind of shops can you expect?

You can expect a blend of home, jewelry, shoes and clothing uniquely tailored to your location. In St. Louis, the shops included are midwest chic with a vintage vibe. They handpick each shop and seamlessly blend them together on the retail floor. It makes shopping all your favorite STL stores a breeze. 

Some of the shops specifically included in Kindred in the St. Louis location are Knitted Belle, Adorn, Everyday Runway, Brooke and Sloan, Addie and Ains, Ashley Jayne and Solayne Designs.

What type of shopper can you expect to find their personal style at Kindred?

I think almost everyone is going find something they love at Kindred. There is SUCH a wide range of products (one of the blessings of having dozens of stores in one place). There will be something for everyone whether you are 8 or 82. 😉 PLUS: it’s ideal for shoppers who love supporting small business owners. I know I always feel 10x better when my purchase goes towards furthering someone’s dream.

Are there any grand opening events going on?
