Happy #fashionwednesday!! This outfit has become one of my absolute favorite lately – and basically you can exchange out any slouchy tee to complete this look. That’s what makes it so great! I have been LIVING in oversized graphic tees lately because #comfortiskey for this new mama. Luckily – with graphic tees making a comeback in style, it’s become a LOT easier to dress up these tees so you look adorable AND comfortable. The ultimate fashion goal. Let’s dive into this.
How To Style A Slouchy Tee
The Tee
Amazon & Target are the PLACES TO GO for slouchy tees. Both places have TONS of options when it comes to fun graphic tees. I always size up in my tees – so where I’m usually a small, I get all my graphic tees in size medium. I size up because they look adorable whether they are tucked or half tucked into jeans, or knotted at the waist. You get plenty of fabric to work with and you don’t run the risk of having a skin tight top. (which is it’s own look for sure – but not what we are going for when it comes to a slouchy tee)!
The Boyfriend Jeans
These are another Amazon WIN. I ordered these up a size than I usually wear. Pre-pregnancy I was a size 4, but now I fit more comfortably in the size 6. I ordered these in a 28 and they are perfect. They are a TINY bit big around my waist, but I almost always wear them with a belt so that isn’t a huge deal to me. I prefer them to be a little bit on the loose side for boyfriend style jeans anyways. I have lots of tight skinny jeans and that isn’t the look I’m going for here. Target and Amazon are my go-to places for denim like this as well, but Nordstrom and American Eagle also have good options.
The Accessories
I have a few accessories that really make this look – and two of them are designer dupes. The black flats are one of my all-time favorite pair of shoes this time of year. They are SUPER comfortable and they go with EVERYTHING. These are Steve Madden dupes (the original pair is $60 – whereas these are $16) and in my opinion just as well made as my real Steve Maddens! They have held up well and form nicely to your foot. I feel they are true to size as well.
Next, I have my Gucci dupe belt! I LOVE this belt. It looks super close to the real deal, without that $550 price tag. It’s $19 and the belt itself is actually super nicely made. I have been loving belts with prominent buckles lately (I have a Tory Burch belt that is one of my faves) because they look SO CUTE with tucked in tops!!
I wore my ‘J’ necklace with this outfit and it’s from Francescas – but honestly you can find a million initial necklaces on Etsy that look just as adorable! I want to get one of the ever popular name necklaces all my blogger friends wear of their kiddos names with “JACK” on it but for now I’ve just got this cutie ‘J’ one!
