Happy FRI-YAY! Tonight my hubby + I are double dating with my parents to go to a haunted corn maze and basically kick off the first weekend of Halloween RIGHT. Speaking of weekends, LAST weekend I had the chance to stay at the Hilton St. Louis At The Ballpark hotel and experience their incredible 360 rooftop bar. I was able to bring along two of my close friends to enjoy it with me and together we drank all of the virgin mojitos they would allow us to order. If you’re in the St. Louis area, this is where you need to be.
Hilton St. Louis At The Ballpark + 360 Rooftop Bar
LOCATION
The Hilton St. Louis At The Ballpark is located RIGHT in the heart of the city. It overlooks the Busch Stadium so you have the best view of all the baseball games, and has the most beautiful view of the St. Louis gateway arch. We were located on the 8th floor — with our window facing the arch. During the day it sparkles, and at night it glows. Seriously beautiful.
AMENTITES
We were able to take full advantage of the hot tub situation in the hotel, as well as the front desk. We didn’t have a microwave in our room but had 3 bags of popcorn that needed eating, so they sent one up and installed it for us right there on the spot. Everyone was SO nice and the valet parking was really easy, too. They also have a fitness room if you wanna work out (although I am strictly against working out when I’m only a mini staycation).
360 ROOFTOP BAR
This was the best part — the 360 Rooftop Bar! I am obsessed and can’t wait to go back. The food is pretty much the fanciest food I have ever eaten and completely delicious. I was a huge fan of the barbecue chicken kabobs. SO YUMMY. They also have a wide range of alcoholic beverages (it is a bar after all) but seeing as I do not drink alcohol, I took advantage of their non-alcoholic drink menu. Mainly, their virgin mojitos. I think I had five, at least. We also had something called “witches brew” which I think was just a lot of cocktail juice mixed together.
The bar was on the 26th floor — with a perfect view of the stadium and the arch. You had the option of sitting outside to enjoy the fall weather or inside, when it got a little cooler at night. They had awesome decor — very modern. The wait staff is also incredible. Shout-out to one of the bar managers, Bridgette. She made sure we were totally taken care of and we SO appreciated it.
We were able to sample several dishes + desserts while we were there, too. The cheesecake, btw? Hands down. The best cheesecake in the entire world. I’m still thinking about it. They also had a fabulous plate of beignets with a mocha-cream cheese dipping sauce (to DIE for). Everything was always plated beautifully – the chefs take amazing care to ensure each dish that comes out looks like it belongs in a magazine.
FINAL THOUGHTS
This is THE best hotel to stay at if you are visiting St. Louis. It is SO close to everything downtown, all the restaurants and attractions. If you go around Halloween, there are a million haunted houses, escape rooms and creepy activities to take part in. If you go around Christmas, everything is lit up and gorgeous. I am positive it is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in – and huge. The rooms were spacious and clean. They have baseball themed art around the hotel and everything is festive and exciting.
Perfect for: couples + families looking for the best deal on a downtown location

I don’t drink so the bar scene is not exactly my thing. I will say however, some of the best food I have ever eaten has been in a bar! Crazy right?!
I don’t drink either! I only had their non-alcoholic beverages! 🙂

Coming Up Roses
I don’t know that I will ever get to St. Louis, but this hotel sounds amazing! The hot tub sounds wonderful and the rooftop bar looks like it would be thrilling – as long as you don’t get too close to the edge (heights make me nervous) – and the food looks scrumptious!
