It’s the end of the month – and what a month it has been! ICYMI – we welcomed our darling little boy, Noah James, into the world on February 8th of this month and you can read his birth story HERE! He’s my #1 monthly obsession for this month. 😉 BUT as I navigate postpartum life again this second time around, I have lots of favorite items so let’s jump right into this!

FEBRUARY 2022 MONTHLY OBSESSIONS

Lovevery Play Gym

This play gym is FANTASTIC! We had an inexpensive light up one for Jack when he was a newborn, but we never loved it and it was mostly obnoxious. This play gym has everything you need from newborn through the first year – it is colorful, there are sensory strands and play things, it’s great for tummy time and it has a tent attachment for fun playtime as baby gets bigger. I wish I had invested in this for my first!

Starbucks Pink Jelly Cup

I am pretty certain you have to get these in stores if you don’t want to spend $35 / cup (they’re $19.99 in store) but I’m obsessed with this cup. It’s SO CUTE and I don’t know about you – but when my water cups are cute, I drink an alarmingly larger amount of water than when I don’t like my cup. It’s fun and it’ll be really cute in the spring and summer for neighborhood walks!

Pink Flannel Shacket

This has got to be one of the best Amazon finds I have ever purchased. The quality is SO much better than I anticipated – it’s super cute, comfortable and well-made. I love the color – it’s the perfect transitional flannel without looking like it belongs in October.

Smiley Face Slippers

I’ve mentioned these slippers like 400 times on my stories the last few days but for good reason. They’re ADORABLE. The slippers are comfortable and 10/10 guaranteed to make you smile every time you look down at your feet.

Freshly Picked Backpack Diaper Bag

I pulled this back out from when I used it for my oldest son 2 years ago, and still absolutely love it. It fits so much, it’s great for traveling and I can even fit everything I need for two kiddos now. It’s not bulky, and it fits nicely at the bottom of my double stroller, too. I love it!

Hatch Sound Machine

This sound machine is a game changer for our kids. I don’t think we could live without them. Jack has slept with a sound machine his entire life and it makes it so that we don’t have to tip-toe around our house once the kids are in bed. They block the noise while lulling the little ones to sleep! Hatch is great because I can control both boys’ machines from my phone, set bedtime hours, and utilize their easy-rise feature (especially helpful for my toddler).

Grande Lash Primer

This is new to me and I love it! I just started using a lash primer and when I found this one I was sold! It’s great because it has ingredients that help grow your natural lashes so you are helping to nourish your lashes while looking put together. It is a great formula that volumizes and lengthens underneath my regular mascara.

Wireless Nursing Bra 2-Pack

Picked this up on a whim at Target the other day and am SO glad I did. These bras are amazing. They are super soft, totally wireless and make nursing a breeze. I got the pink/white two pack. I personally prefer fabric nursing bras to traditional bras that just fold down in the early stages of newborn life because they are more comfortable as my milk production regulates!

Newborn Photos by Stephanie Marie Photography

Two and a half years ago, Stephanie did our fresh 48 newborn photos for Jack so obviously a few weeks before Noah was born, I called her up again and asked if she had availability to do Noah’s, too! We loved her so much the first time around and we were so excited to be able to use her again. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and we will cherish them forever! HIGHLY recommend Stephanie – she is so talented and just an absolute gem.

Ready Rocker

This thing was one of my #1 favorite items to use with Jack – and I just got the brand new upgraded version for Noah!!!! I am OBSESSED with them. They turn any chair into a rocking chair – so we keep ours in the car. That way if we are out and I need to nurse or rock Noah, I am able to do so in a pinch. They aren’t bulky at all, and really make life easier.
