Happy #beautymonday!! I am so excited to be bringing you this tutorial. I know the more I film, the better I’ll get, so bear with me during the learning phase. I got SO MANY DM’s on instagram, comments on Facebook and emails in my inbox asking me to film a tutorial showing how I do this look. It was my style on the Fourth of July and looks fabulous on just about every length of hair. You can even do this with hair shorter than mine. You just have to have at least ear to chin length hair on the top third of your head. Anyways, let’s jump into it!

This style is super easy, as you saw. The hardest part is learning to flip your braid inside out. Once you figure that out, though, you’ll never go back!! I pretty much only do braids this way now. They look super complex you people will totally marvel at your skills — and you can totally bask in their praise. 😉

  1. This is a super cute hairstyle. I always get afraid of trying to braid myself, I always feel like it looks awful, but I might try this!

  2. So cute! I love wearing my hair braided, especially in the summer. Its cool and comfortable and buys me an extra day to not wash my hair 🙂

  3. Great video! Such an effective look too. I’m hoping this style would work for me too. The only issue is… I’m not great at braiding 😉
