Happy #BEAUTYMONDAY, beautiful friends. As I’ve been doing more instagram live videos, I’ve had the chance to talk with a ton of you in real time (I’ll be doing regular get ready with me videos this week so be sure to tune in), and one of the overwhelming responses to what should I post about on beauty Monday next was my skin care routine. LUCKILY, I had just recently teamed up with an awesome skin care brand and am bringing you my skin care routine using these products! Let’s jump into it!

Morning Skin Care Routine Ft. Zapzyt

This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. All opinions are my own.

Let’s talk about my skin. I have INCREDIBLY oily skin. Unfortunately, that means breakouts for me happen often. I have been lucky to avoid cystic acne, and birth control pills take care of MOST of my really bad acne, but I do have serious struggle areas on my face. I have several places (my cheeks and chin) that have stubborn acne scars and regularly break out. JOY.

Because of these regular break outs, I find that my skin has a lot of texture and uneven patchiness. AKA not really ideal. So, when I had to opportunity to work with Zapzyt, I leapt at the chance. Maybe this time, my skin would take a turn for the better. ZAPZYT is the solution for the problem zit. Below is my daily routine, and what I found once I had been using this product for a while.

Acne Wash Cleanser

This is step one. I wash my face both morning AND night with this acne wash cleanser. It feels gentle on my skin and removes the excess makeup my makeup remover leaves behind. As I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, this wash works well for those of you who can’t tolerate products that are too harsh (it’s REALLY hard to find a product that does that well). ZAPZYT Acne wash balances powerful Salicylic Acid with soothing aloe and chamomile.

Pore Clearing Scrub

I have a TON of black heads on my nose (I know that is exactly what you wanted to hear..I get it). It is another area of my skin that I really struggle with. This scrub does a great job of the getting the naaaasty dirt and makeup out of my pores. I wish I could take a picture of the inside of my pores before and after, but I definitely see a difference in the smoothness and all over texture of my skin. WINNNNNN.

Pore Treatment Gel

This was designed to be put on tough pores. It shrinks and closes open pores that have been recently cleared to avoid more dirt and makeup getting in. I always use it following the pore scrub. I find it significantly shrinks the pores around my nose, but not so much my chin and cheeks. ZAPZYT Pore Treatment Gel balances the active ingredient of Salicylic acid with calming aloe and Brazilian botanicals, so your skin will feel cool when you put it on.

AS SOON AS I feel a zit coming on (you know what I’m talking about), I immediately put this on the mini mountain growing on my face. This product is proven to reduce the appearance of acne within 5 hours. It speeds up the healing process from 3-5 days down to 1-2 for severe acne, and takes typical pimples only overnight to be completely gone. I’m not saying this is a miracle treatment…buttttt…I’m not NOT saying that. ZAPZYT is a REAL solution for REAL people.

I hope you found this skincare routine easy enough to following along with! It is SO SO SO important to clean your skin both morning and night. Keeping dirt, oil and makeup on your skin for longer than 24 hours can cause breakouts, excessive oil production and more. NO BUENO. You can find these products HERE.

  1. This is 100% what I was looking for this weekend! I tried microdermabrasion and have noticed a massive difference but still need something to remove the annoying acne marks! Do you recommend anything for pores?!

  2. I definitely need to get back in the habit of having a skin care routine. I’ve gotten a bit lazy since I have moved to Dallas but the air isn’t as moisturizing as Houston so I need to get back on the roll.

  3. Totally agree that our skin loves when we find a good routine and stick to it! I also struggle with acne but by sticking to my simple routine my skin has been almost completely clear! I will have to check out this product too, though.

  4. Finding a skin care routine that I can stick to has been HUGE for me! It’s amazing how we “think” some products work for us, but as soon as we swap them out and try something new, it finally clicks and we start seeing change!

Also, I love your profile picture! 🙂

  5. I’m so thankful to have good skin, but I do get the occasional breakout so it’s nice to have products like these that work quickly! Getting in the habit of a good skincare routine is so important too!

  6. Gosh, I’m so thankful for this post! I’ve definitely been noticing recently that I need to find a way to start being proactive instead of reactive about my skin scare routine. My skin is suffering from my lack of investment in it for sure. Thank you so much for posting about this! I will totally be giving it a try!

  7. I have been putting off a good skincare regimen for ages. It’s almost a shame, I am totally obsessed with cosmetics but have been totally guilty of neglecting my skin. I’ll have to check out these products!

  8. I feel like we have very similar skin issues! I may have to try that mask – I am always looking for a new face scrub to control these blackheads and large pores!

  9. That mask sounds great! I am a person who always sticks with products once I know they work, so sometimes I’m a little nervous about trying new things. But I need to try it!

  10. Throughout my life, I have done/taken it all…Accutane, antibiotics, creams, washes…you name it to no avail. It has taken me almost 15 years {as I am now 29} to simply use water and tea tree oil as an effective cleaner. This is a great post and I hope it continues to work for you and others!

  11. Looks like a great line of products. My teen has been struggling with blackheads recently too – I’ll have to look into these for her. We’ve tried a couple of super gentle brands with little results (surprise!), but I don’t want to step up to anything harsh on her skin. Maybe this will be as gentle on her skin as it was on yours.
