HAPPY MONDAY! I spent the weekend with my bestie to celebrate her daughter’s second birthday with a Taco TWOsday theme and it was nothing short of totally dreamy. If you remember – she came out to celebrate Jack’s first birthday, too! We flew out to Philly to share in the festivities, but made sure to take all of the appropriate COVID19 precautions including increased handwashing/sanitizing, masks worn every time we were in public, no fevers/coughing or flu like symptoms present in anyone we came into contact with and we flew Southwest which guarantees 6 hours of flight cleaning daily, the middle seat empty in each row and 50-60% full flights only.
Taco TWO-sday Birthday Party + Philly Weekend Recap
Here’s the run down of our fun-filled (+ safe) weekend – if you are looking for some awesome fall activities in the Philly area, look no further!
DAY ONE – SULOMAN’S DAIRY ICE CREAM & FEEDING THE DUCKS
Erica was SO excited to take us to Suloman’s and for good reason! We got ice cream at the sweetest locally owned dairy. It was totally delicious – and Liv (the birthday girl) went around to everyone and sampled every flavor! Jack was just happy to get bites of his chocolate scoop. HAH! The two are them are as different as they could be and it was so sweet to watch them play. Suloman’s also has ducks you can feed in the back and you can snag a bag of duck food on the way out of the shop to give them!

DAY TWO – FRECON APPLE ORCHARD & OLEY TURNPIKE DAIRY PETTING ZOO
Frecon Apple Orchard was absolutely darling. We got to pick fresh apples (YUM), eat at the farm stand (highly recommend the grilled cheese + apple sider slushy if you are hungry), and hung out at the pumpkin patch! There’s a ton to do and you could enjoy an entire day out here picking apples, pumpkins and running through the little corn maze for the kids.
Oley Turnpike Dairy petting zoo is SO CUTE. If your kids LOVE animals, they’ll love this darling petting zoo. BONUS – Erica told me she actually went to this petting zoo as a kid. It was so fun to go there as adults and have our kiddos get so excited over the goats, llamas, sheep and cows. Jack was in love with the baby goats and was STOKED to feed all the animals with the food you snag at the entrance.
DAY THREE – TACO TWOSDAY BIRTHDAY PARTY
This theme was SO precious. Erica went with Taco Twosday to celebrate our girl turning TWO. If you don’t follow E, you’ll want to catch up on Olivia’s birth story here. This girl came into the world on her own terms and spent 73 days in the NICU – not that you’d EVER notice that now that she is a firecracker of a toddler.
It was so much fun celebrating the OG and watching her and Jack become friends and play so sweetly together makes my mama heart so happy!
