I did a newborn favorites post HERE – so I thought I’d do a little baby favorites updated post for the age Jack is right now! Jack is 9.5months old so we’ve phased out quite a few of his original toys and traded them in for some new stuff!! Check out everything we are loving right now!

9-12 month Baby FAVORITES!

DUO Breast Pump

I have been LOVING this pump. I was actually supposed to be using it on my trip to Florida with Toyota, but COVID19 ruined everything on that front. BUT I wasn’t going to let that stop be from getting some great use out of this pump. I love Motif Medical for pumping supplies – I have their Luna pump and that is what I’ve used for most of my postpartum journey. I was really excited about the DUO because it’s more powerful than my Elvie pumps, but it’s portable and I don’t have to be plugged into a wall. It’s been wonderful for when I need to get Jack a bottle and still need to do other things. I’m still breastfeeding the majority of the time, but this is great for on the go!

My Pal Scout

Man – Jack is OBSESSED with this. He got this for Christmas but he is just now getting the hang of using it. He realizes that if he presses Scout’s paw, it makes music and each paw does something different! He spends so much time hugging him and pressing his paws. For kids a little older, Scout can learn their favorite thing and ask them questions!

Dr. Browns Transitional Bottle-to-Sippy Cup

I LOOOOVE this thing. This has been so good in getting Jack use to a “sippy cup” of water. We only put water in this thing, it has little hand holders for him to hang onto himself and it’s an awesome transitional cup. He loves it and gets SO excited to use it.

My Little Blue Truck book series

These books are Jack’s FAVE. We have 4 different ones now, and his favorite is the “beep along” book because he can press the truck and make it honk. He loves a lot of books, but this series makes him laugh and he intentionally turns the pages! AND the stories are cute, so I don’t hate reading them over and over.

Elephant Tag Lovey

Jack sleeps with this every night and totally panics if it isn’t in his crib when gets put down to sleep. It’s a super soft little elephant with a soft square blanket and little silky tags attached to all of the sides. It’s perfect because he sucks his thumb and rubs the silky tags with his fingers to fall asleep.

Ralalu Our City Play Mat

My friend actually created these – and I’m OBSESSED with it. It’s such a soft, durable material and I can throw it in any room in the house. You can actually just really my whole review HERE.

Personalized Name Puzzle

If you follow me on IG, you’ll have heard my rant about this LOL. I love love LOOOVE this puzzle. And it’s one of JAck’s favorite toys. He can spend forever removing the pieces and carefully putting them back in their spot. However – these do attract dogs for some reason. I’ve replaced every piece in this puzzle because it is the ONLY toy Archer eats. He does not chew on anything in our entire house except this. So – definitely get it for your kid, but put it up when you’re done or else fido may eat the whole thing.

Cuddle + Kind Dolls

I am … obsessed with these dolls. Not only are they absolutely DARLING but each doll purchase feeds 10 kids in need. So not only are you getting a precious handmade doll, you are going to help a child in need. I’ve been really trying to focus on purchasing from small shops and shops that have awesome missions and charitable donations especially during this pandemic and I just feel really good supporting this shop. We got Sebastian the Lamb because his nickname is “Little Prince” and it was Jack’s easter present – you know, Lamb of God and Prince of Peace! I thought it went well. 🙂

Teething Wafers Sweet Potato + Bananas

Jack is such a huge fan. He gets one little pack of these a day usually mid morning. They’re just the right size to fit in his hands, and he’s REALLY into feeding himself lately. He likes the sweet potato + banana flavor best! He doesn’t have any teeth yet, but he’s almost there and these melt really easily in his mouth.

Rubber Bibs

Jack has a FULL DRAWER of regular bibs that we don’t use outside of keeping them for emergencies in his diaper bag. Why? Because these rubber bibs are BY FAR the best. They’re dishwasher safe so after you are done and your little one has covered it in food, rinse it off in the sink and pop it in the dishwasher. SO easy and less laundry.

Sleeveless Sleep Sack

These are lightweight and have an inverted zipper so he can’t undo it himself. He still sleeps better with a sleep sack on, but they aren’t too hot for him.

Hatch Sound Machine

We’ve had this since Jack was a baby, but I feel like I had to mention it if you are using another sound machine. It’s the BEST one. It has a soft nightlight you can turn on and off, and several sound settings. When Jack was little, I kept a little light on for night feeds but now I keep the light off and have it on an automatic setting to turn on at 7pm and off at 8am! Plus, I can operate it from my phone.

Grey Crib Shoes

These crib shoes are so cheap – I have them in a million colors – and they really hold up! They do not slip off of Jack’s feet and they look absolutely adorable on him.

Fisher Price Musical Piano

Jack is finally at an age where he actually likes “playing” the piano. He LOVES to hear the noise when he bangs on the keys – I keep it on the actual piano setting so it plays the notes instead of songs. The keys also light up and can do animal sounds or different instruments. He can play at this forever!

Huggies Overnight Diapers

Jack started leaking through his regular diapers at night, so I decided to switch to overnight diapers. We usually use Pampers swaddlers for daytime, but they over nights for Pampers weren’t holding up – so we tried Huggies and they work like an absolute charm.

Farm Animal Bath Toys

Jack has started to REALLY love playing in the bath and these have been a total hit!! He makes little noises while playing with them and they float in the water. He can squeeze them and water squirts out or put them in his little bowl.

These are all SO good for this age group – and we are loving EVERYTHING.

What is your favorite for 9-12 months?!
