HEYYYY FRIENDS. Happy #fashionwednesday. Today’s post is NOT what I intended on posting – I wanted to shoot my adorable new Kate Spade coat and I had this cute dress…and then this week’s weather happened and lemme tell you – shooting in almost negative degree weather in a dress just means being miserable and I’m already going through seasonal moodiness. SO instead of my planned outfit, I’ve got this fun round up of the most PERFECT date night outfits for every type of girl. Let’s dive into it.
Valentine’s Day Date Night Outfit Guide
Let’s be honest – not everyone is going to be spending V-day the same way. So whether you are out with your honey at some swanky restaurant, or hanging in your pjs with a bottle of bubbly, I’ve got something for each of you. And thank heavens Valentine’s Day is still a week away because it’s time to get on that online ordering. These outfits are set in order of most fancy to least fancy, so scroll away ’til you find one that speaks to you.

Celebrity A-List Gala
This guide is perfect if you happen to be a celebrity a-lister attending some sort of fancy AF party. This rates like a 10/10 on the classy scale.
Classy Jen Party or Expensive Dinner Date
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the video of the little girl talking about classy Jen but here it is just in case. I constantly quote this and I want to be classy Jen more than anything in the world:
These dresses (+ one jumper) are also great if you are going to an expensive restaurant or spending a little more on your date than you usually do in the ~ n a m e o f l o v e ~.
Downtown Club Hopping
Maybe you don’t have a boyfriend/S.O. and are out to celebrate with your girls downtown – this is a little less classy than the dinner date option but still sexy and flattering.
Dinner For Two At Home
I love this one. Maybe you are skipping out on the traditional celebration or you prefer something more intimate, you still wanna look nice but I’m guessing if you are staying home, the dress isn’t lasting long anyways (because you’ll put PJs on obviously. get your mind out of the gutter…).
PJs & Pizza
This is my favorite option. If I have the chance to stay home and eat pizza and ice cream with my hubby and our kitties, I’ma do it. Especially if it includes elastic waist bands and my hubby’s sweatshirts.
I hope this outfit guide gets you ready for the day of love. It doesn’t matter what you do or how you celebrate, take time to tell the people you love most how much they mean to you. I personally take any opportunity to shower my family and friends with lovelovelovelovelove!

Let me know in the comments below how YOU plan on celebrating V-Day!

I’m so a pj’s and pizza kinda girl for Valentine’s Day. We’re literally ordering dinner from our local Farmer’s Table cafe and going home for a night of coziness and relaxing! I do love your outfit in this post though. That’s my every day style, for sure!
So many cute options!
I love that you shared different ideas for different things. I think we will be staying home.
I love all the options! I particularly love your outfit though. Too cute!
Love these! We are going out to a more casual place late that night because I work until 9:00. I’m planning to wear a black dress with red leggings – gotta keep the legs warm in this cold PA weather!
These are all cute outfit options! I’m thinking I’ll be rockin pjs and poppin’ open some bubbly!
We have never really celebrated Valentine’s Day, but we will do something during the week sometime like a nice dinner at a special restaurant. We also never go on Valentine’s Day because we know it’ll always be packed, haha!
Love all of these shades of red–wish I had enough options to wear dark red every day of my life. Always makes me feel so badass 😉
I love all of these outfits haha. We’re doing Valentine’s Day this weekend to beat the crowds.
Love the outfits!
My husband makes a mean cocktail so we’ll do some drinks and play backgammon… because we are 30 something senior citizens and loving every second of it. 🙂
So real question will u come “downtown club hopping” with me? 😉
So cute! Pizza and PJs sounds and looks great to me!
