Happy #fashionwednesday! I hope everyone is staying warm despite the fact that it’s still FREEZING outside. I am SO ready for spring. I am absolutely feeling like a stuffed sausage (hi 17 weeks pregnant) and cannot wait to be out of heavy coats and sweaters. I have never wanted t-shirts and shorts to be in more than now. LOL. And speaking of being PREGS: the clothes I’m sharing today are all from PinkBlush, a fabulous maternity clothes brand that sent me this cute preggo outfit to style coming into spring. I am loving how comfortable these pants are + how soft and livable this top is – it’s warm without being suffocating. Let’s dive into this whole outfit.
The Easiest Cozy #OOTD From PinkBlush
The items in this blog post were gifted to me by PinkBlush. All opinions are mine and mine alone.
NOW I know my bump is still baby-sized (literally) – but it’s definitely there and I love how comfortable maternity jeans are. I can breathe in them and I just literally can’t fit into any pre-pregnancy jeans if I tried – and haven’t been for weeks now.
I’m excited about these maternity clothes because I feel like I will be able to wear this all the way through until it starts getting super warm – and even then I will be able to wear this pants all the way through the end of my pregnancy because they’re cropped and ripped.
5 tips to staying comfy + cozy this February:
ONE: Choose pants you can move in.
These pants are ULTRA comfortable and not just because they have a maternity waistband (although I’m not sure how I’m ever going back to regular jeans that button after this). The fabric of the denim is stretchy and soft. I can sit, stand, cross legs, dance, jump – whatever I want to do. It makes it ideal for any activity you have going on, and when I do need to sit or lay down – I am not uncomfortable or tight in my pants. PLUS – they look a little classier than yoga pants or leggings.
TWO: Pick the softest fabric you can for your top.
This top is SERIOUSLY the softest shirt I’ve ever worn. It’s 3/4 length sleeves, so it isn’t too warm, but it isn’t short sleeved so I don’t get cold. Pick a top that looks cute and chic – but feels like pajamas. That should be everyone’s motto honestly. Everything should look classy but feel comfy.
THREE: Opt for a cowl neck or faux turtleneck.
This is my favorite way to stay cozy in the spring. Cowl necks and faux turtlenecks are a great way to stay warm without overheating due to large sweaters or bulky scarves. Cowl necks are great if you don’t want to add any necklaces or extra accessories, while faux turtlenecks are great at keeping your neck warm while allowing you the option to add a dainty necklace or statement piece.
FOUR: Pick fun sneakers or slides for your shoe.
I personally LOVE slides with this outfit. They’re so cute and so easy to slip on (especially as it gets harder for me to bend over). They still over your toes when it’s chilly but they don’t suffocate your foot. Another great option are fun sneakers – my pink Adidas OR my cute gap velvet gap sneakers are perfect and OH so comfortable. They don’t have any heels, so they’re easy to walk in.
FIVE: Throw on a fun hat and earrings for the ideal accessories!
You guys know that a hat is one of my very favorite accessories for ANY outfit. It instantly elevates the look. But if you don’t have a fun hat – statement earrings are the PERFECT choice. I opted for something blush colored to match the little stripes in my top!
