Happy #FASHIONWEDNESDAY! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving – so it’s the perfect time to share some fun Thanksgiving #ootd style inspiration for the big day. I always laugh because there is a meme that circulates around every year during Thanksgiving that says something along the lines of “we get all dressed up looking fly AF for Thanksgiving just to walk around our kitchen and not leave the house” and that is so true – at least for me! We don’t go out when we are at my in laws, we just enjoy each others company at my mother in laws house, but I always dress up cute anyways. 😉 It makes me feel festive. I do the same thing on Christmas!! Anyways, if you are like me and want to look fly AF regardless of where you are going, keep on reading!

A classic & comfortable top.

This adorable top is one of my Downeast FAVORITES. They have the CUTEST fall stuff in right now and I am obsessed with this gingham. It’s one of my favorite summer patterns – but transitions perfectly into fall. I prefer bigger gingham checks for cooler weather, and this flannel fabric is not only cute but it’s HELLA comfortable, too. I am also in love with these cutie sleeves.

PRO TIP: choose a top that is easy to work in, if you are cooking, and won’t make you too hot if you are by the oven and stove all day. This top is perfect because it’s warm but the sleeves are flowy and let some air in. PLUS they aren’t so long that they will drag in the food.

A fun texture to spice things up.

I grabbed by faux fur vest for this part!! I love how comfortable it is, plus I just feel like it added a little something to the outfit. It was totally cute before, but the vest took it up a notch. I love the mix of the busy pattern with the faux fur texture. It’s nice because neither of them are pure white, but more of a cream / off-white which is exactly what you want this time of year.

Killer jeans (or leggings because #thanksgivingfoodbaby, amiright?).

Ok, these are my all time favorite jeans from Dish Denim. They hug my legs JUST right, they make my butt look awesome and they are so stretchy and comfortable. They get a thumbs up from me AND my husband. However – on the actual day of…I may end up opting for a more food-friendly legging option. 😉 If you want, stay in your amazing jeans for pictures and then switch into leggings for dinner. #noshame

Some over-the-knee boots.

I have waited ALL YEAR to pull these babies out!! I got them last year and have been thinking about these velvet boots ever since. They are crazy comfy and really warm, which makes them perfect for when it randomly starts snowing mid-November instead of waiting until the end of the December like last year.

They are still totally on trend so if you bought them last year when they were in style, you are good to go!

Matching jewelry (a little #ootd inspo right there!)

This Downeast #ootd necklace was one of my very favorite finds from them earlier this year. I love it because it totally reminds that I LOVE my job and as silly as it sounds, when people ask me about what it means I get to share my blogging career and that is really cool. I paired it with their newest oversized hoop earrings because I rarely have silver jewelry and I love how it paired with the gingham.
