Happy Thanksgiving Eve, my lovely people! I can’t believe it is already the end of November. How fast time as flown! 23 days and 15 hours until Graduation (not that I am counting down or anything). I hope you all have perfect plans for this holiday season and are spending it with your loved ones. But on the off-chance you are sitting in front of your screen today like me, I’ve pulled together a little Thanksgiving OOTD inspiration for you and a few of my FAVORITE Black Friday steals to make shopping this year a little easier.
Thanksgiving OOTD Inspiration + Black Friday Steals
I threw together a little look that is perfect for Turkey Day (mostly because it is black + grey and that means when I ultimately drip gravy down the front of my dress — it isn’t going to show). I got this number from Target two years ago, so the style is no longer being sold. Lucky for you, the A-line dress is crazy popular this season so I’ve linked a few styles at the bottom of the post for you that are super similar.
I added this maroon scarf because I love pop of fall colors. Another option would be to add an olive-green scarf. Pretty much any of the typical fall colors like burnt orange-olive green-maroon-red would go perfectly. I paired these opaque tights with the look to add a winter vibe. The black booties serve to lengthen my legs because they blend with the black tights and I am all about the long leg look (say that 10 times fast).
For my makeup, of course, I went with a bold lip and a winged liner (what’s new there). I would opt to go for a classic look for Thanksgiving. Go for a neutral color palette (soft browns or soft greys) and glam up the lip. Be sure to check out my post on Thanksgiving-proof lipsticks that will last the entire day!
Now for the best part — my FAVORITE Black Friday deals! All in one place for you:
H&M is offering 60% off their sweaters, accessories and more! They are offering new deals every day up until Black Friday. Who doesn’t need six new sweaters this season, amiright?
Target (be still my soul) is offering 25% off all their beauty products in their ten days of deals. Ya WELCOME!!
Macys has like a thousand door busters that are so worth the trip over to your nearest location. Including shoes, accessories AND makeup (EEEEEP).
ASOS is offering up to 70% off of their merchandise. So guess where I am getting my next holiday dress…. (and you, too, probably).
Kohl’s, just like Macys, has a crap ton of door busters and crazy sales. From home decor, clothes, and shoes….Kohl’s has it all! Don’t forget to stop by and grab Christmas presents for the whole family.
I hope that this gave you the inspiration you needed to pull together the PERFECT Thanksgiving day outfit. I wish you all the happiness in the world as you dine with your family and friends.
Take a moment to write what you’re thankful for and leave some of your items in the comments. 🙂 Let’s spread the joy!
With love,
Taylor, I LOVE this look on you! Just yesterday I kind of had a moment of realization that I hadn’t even thought about what to wear on Thanksgiving yet. Not that it is really this ground shattering thing, haha, because I’m sure it’s pretty easy for a lot of people to throw something so cute together. But the older I get, the more I realize that I want to be mindful of these things. THIS is totally going to be my inspiration because you look absolutely gorgeous! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you SO much Shaylynn!!! I cannot WAIT to see what look you create!!! 🙂
I love your hair, Taylor! Happy Thanksgiving, my American friend! xoxoxo
Thanks so much 🙂
I love that dress, and the accessories you paired with it are so perfect. The pop of metallic gold and use of the 2016 color of the year in the scarf are brilliant!. I also love that everything in your post was under $50! I am pretty sure you are my blogging spirit animal:)
LOL! Yes!!! Under $50 is the way to go. Money should not stop you from being BOMB and feeling gorgeous.
I’ve been wanting to get some cute booties like that too. Do they work okay with leggings?
Yes! They work perfectly.
I love this dress and how you styled it with a gold belt and burgundy scarf! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful sales, cant wait to shop!
Whaaat? Target is having a sale on beauty products? Ugh. I kinda dont need to know this because I will inevitably spend waaaay too much to grab up all these amazing deals!
Me too. It always always happens. WHOOPS! LOL

I love love that you went with a gold belt. I always do black but the gold really adds something to the whole outfit! We are doing a friendsgiving with a bunch of people who aren’t going to see family for the holidays. It makes up for it a bit.
This outfit is so cute! I wore something similar last year for Thanksgiving 🙂 it’s such a cute, but comfy look.
I love your Thanksgiving day outfit! The little glitter belt and burgundy lips are my favorite part!
Such a cute outfit! I love the pop of color you added with the scarf ❤

Your outfit looks awesome! I love that darker hair color on you. It really brings out how bright your hair color is.
I never pay attention to Black Friday deals because I don’t shop on that day. But I’m going to check out Target because I do need some makeup essentials. Thanks for that tip.
such a cute look, love the scarf paired with the stripes!
