Happy #fashionwednesday!! Today, I am sharing with you 30 of the best, most beautiful NYE dresses to ring in 2019 in! I know how hard it is to find something that you feel comfortable in, checks all your boxes when it comes to showing skin (if you aren’t into that) and that you can afford. We live in a world of strapless body con dresses and that can be really difficult when you are someone who chooses to dress modestly but still wants to be fashionable. I totally get it – TRUST ME. Today, I’m going to be breaking down each dress by fabric – Sequin, Velvet & Metallic – and I’ve already made sure each of the dresses (& occasional skirt) are LESS than $100 – so you don’t have to feel guilty about buying something sparkly this season. I am personally choosing to go with this pretty metallic skirt number because it’s COLD and also I’ll probably only be wearing it for a photo op (let’s be real – the hubs and I stay inside during NYE and drink sparkling cider and snuggle on the couch. 😉 ). Sequin dresses are the key-stone of outfit inspirations for NYE. 90% of everyone dresses up for New Years this year will be wearing some kind of sparkle and sequin. It’s expected and of course, looks fancy AF. Check out these gorgeous sequin options:

This is kind of the underdog of NYE, tbh. I am a HUUUUGE fan of velvet – and I think it works for every occasion in which you need to be dressed up. Velvet skirts, velvet dresses, velvet shoes – they all look amazing. 10/10.

This is another popular option – and like the one I’m wearing in the pictures! This dress is one of my all-time best Urban Outfitter finds. Metallic is kind of in line with velvet – not quite the same as sequin, but still makes a big impact.
