Every year when the end of January arrives – I start getting antsy for spring clothes. I know technically, winter weather will prevail for at LEAST another 6 weeks but now is about the time I start pulling some of my transitional outfits out of storage so that I can still *FEEL* spring-y. I have chosen some timeless, classic spring transitional pieces that you can wear over and over again, spring after spring – and they’re all QUALITY. I am starting to lean towards sustainable, quality pieces these days, and while they come with a bit of a higher price tag, the goal is that they’ll last us years and years to come. Let’s jump right in.

Must-Have Spring Transitional Picks from Bloomingdale’s (under $200)

This post is sponsored by Bloomingdale’s. All opinions are mine and mine alone.

PEARL-STUDDEN DENIM JACKET

OK I absolutely LOVE this denim jacket. It’s not your every day denim, but it still goes with everything. Erica from Coming Up Roses actually has this one (or similar) and has worn it for years! It’s SUCH a classic. I love being able to play with texture on fabrics and this will “spring” up your classic layering bodysuits / long sleeve tops.

FLORAL LACE TOP

I am unhealthily obsessed with this shirt – it is SO FREAKING CUTE. It’s just the right amount of spring without letting you be too cold. I love that it could be layered underneath a blazer or denim jacket and the neckline is so delicate and pretty. 10/10.

LIGHT WASH STRAIGHT JEANS

I’m BIG into straight jeans these days – and these are THE jeans. First off – this is a denim brand I love. Pricier – but for good reason. They hold their shape year after year, don’t stretch out during the day and wash beautifully. These are classic while still being trendy.

HOT PINK KNIT CARDIGAN

I love throwing hot pink into every season if I can…but it’s particularly appropriate in the spring with all your florals, pinks and pastels. This cardigan goes beautifully with layering tanks or tees, or can be worn alone buttoned up! This would look fantastic paired with the above jeans.

NEUTRAL NEW BALANCE SNEAKERS

I am a sneaker fanatic. I have dozens of sneakers and LOVE to wear them dressed up, down, just all the time. These are so cute, super trendy without being obnoxious and will actually make your feet feel great. They have a padded heel and collar for extra support.

FLORAL SWEATER

This sweater is SO pretty. I love the ivory color, I love the ribbed knit cuffs and I love pairing it with light denim! This looks amazing with skinny jeans, straight jeans or even a denim mini skirt. Add a cute pair of boots, some gold jewelry and you have a completed look.
