HAPPY MONDAY! I had a few requests over the last few weeks to share some of my favorite maternity leggings because FOR SOME REASON – a really good pair of maternity leggings can be really hard to find. I’ve gone through dozens between my pregnancy with Jack and this pregnancy and I feel like I finally have a good handle on which inexpensive brands aren’t garbage and which pricier brands are worth the splurge. Let’s dive into this.

MATERNITY LEGGINGS – FAVORITES ROUND UP!

LEGGINGS UNDER $25

TERRAMED MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $19.99

Ok these are an Amazon find and I LOVE them. They don’t fall down – so they’re perfect for that awkward beginning of second trimester feeling where your bump is too big for your usual leggings but not QUITE big enough for typical maternity leggings. Plus for less than $20, I always stock up on more than one.

BBHOPING MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $17.99

These are another GREAT find. I especially wear these in the first trimester when I’m really bloated but not sporting a real bump yet. It grows nicely with you through the second trimester but not my favorite pick for end of second and third trimester. THAT SAID – for $17.99, it’s like the perfect transitional legging.

H&M MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $14.99

These are a GREAT inexpensive legging option. I find they do not work for that early bump size – but are perfect for end of second beginning of third trimester when you have a sizable bump to work with. They do not last longer than one pregnancy – so these are definitely not an item you will have longer than the season you buy them for. That said, for less than $15, that isn’t a worry for me. They are great in a pinch and don’t bunch up around the hips / upper thighs.

MOTHERHOOD MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $15.00

I always pick these up at the beginning of my pregnancies and have the black and grey on hand. They, like the H&M ones, are not great for a smaller bump. It has LOTS of stretch but you need a bigger bump to fill it out. But as with the leggings above, they are a great for-the-season affordable legging option and they’re pretty much available in every Target if you want to snag a pair.

LEGGINGS OVER $50

SOMA INTIMATES MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $69.99

I love everything Soma Intimates – so these leggings are no exception. They are SO comfortable and super soft. I can wear these from about 14-15 weeks all the way through delivery. I had a pair I wore for Jack and loved – I still have them and they’re in great shape. I bought a second pair for this pregnancy because I got HUGE with Jack and it did stretch them out just a little bit. They’ll be great once I’m 20+ weeks. My previous pair looks brand new, just a little stretched.

A PEA IN THE POD MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $58.00

This pair was new to me this pregnancy but I was pleasantly surprised! I like this brand a lot, they have lots of really lovely splurge items for maternity. The leggings are comfortable and a nice fabric – I feel like I could wear these for more than athleisure or workouts. I can definitely wear these with a nice sweater or long tee and sneakers/boots.

SPANX FAUX LEATHER MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $110.00

These are probably my favorite maternity purchase of all time. They are a serious splurge and you absolutely do NOT need them. However, if you LOVE leather leggings (I personally do and wear my non-maternity ones every single fall) – you will love dressing up your maternity wardrobe with these. I am SO excited to start wearing these with my sweaters and boots since I’ll be at the height of my second / beginning of third trimester during October/November this year.

ZELLA MAMASANA MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $65.00

These are my favorite #1 maternity leggings of all of the leggings in this list. I bought these during the Nordstrom sale and really, really love them. Erica recommended them (she wore them during her pregnancy with Olivia a few years ago) and she’s never steered me wrong! They are the most comfortable and the nicest feeling. I can dress them up or down and they’ve worked well with my bump from 14 weeks+. I bought two pairs and really enjoy them.

KINDRED BRAVELY MATERNITY LEGGINGS – $89.99

These are another big splurge. They are buttery soft and work from early second trimester on. I would put them right in line with the Zella + Soma leggings. I think they are a little nicer maternity, so they are a first pick for dressing up. I really like this brand as well for maternity. THAT SAID – I would probably still snag a Zella pair before this one since Zella is less expensive and they are super comparable.
