Happy THURSDAY! Today is the last video in the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Vault collection. I loved being able to review each palette and really dive into the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to shadow formulations. This last palette was in my bottom two when it came to which palettes I was most excited about, but it turns out, this might be up in one of my favorites. I initially looked at it as a red / warm neutral palette but honestly it’s more of a maroon, purple and burnt orange palette which all combined turns into a delicious pumpkin spice-fall leaf-cinnamon type of palette and I am HERE FOR IT. With the pumpkin spice glitter added onto it, I was pretty ready to jump into hay rides and apple cider. Let’s dive into this.

I loved the way this look turned out. You guys know I’m all about glitter (I even mentioned glitter in last month’s monthly obsessions so the love is REAL), so the fact that I had the PERFECT orange shade of glitter to compliment the orange toned shadows in the Ring The Alarm palette was ideal.

My overall thoughts are  that this palette was made really well. The gold shade could have used a tad bit more oomf and shine, but it wasn’t terrible. The mattes were actually really buttery and blendable, which was great compared to some of the dark mattes in the other palettes. Be sure to watch the above video to get my full thoughts about whether or not you should spend your hard earned dollar bills on this collection. 🙂
