Hello, sweet friends! It’s Friday, which means the weekend, so HOLLA about that. I hope you had a magical week. We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day because my parents and Adam worked in secret to give me the BIGGEST surprise. If you didn’t know, we lost our precious siamese cat Felix suddenly three weeks ago due to an unknown heart condition and it absolutely devastated us. Because my parent’s and A love me more than I deserve, they worked tirelessly the last three weeks to pull off surprising me with a 12-week-old kitten named Isabel, Izzy for short. Our hearts are beginning to heal from losing Felix, and she’s been such a blessing. BUT BACK TO BUSINESS: today is an exciting day! We have been living in our new home for almost two months now, which means it is HIGH time for a room tour. I am MOST excited about this room because it is the space I spend the most time in. Can you guess it….that’s right….MY MAKEUP ROOM (/Adam’s office but shhhhhh it’s mostly my makeup room). Woo-Hoo!!
Home Tour: Makeup Room
The Vanity
I was so lucky to be able to partner with Wayfair for part of this home tour. They so graciously supplied this BEAUTIFUL vanity. I wanted something that I would be able to store all my makeup in. Because. I have a LOT. SO. They sent me this vanity and it has a ton of drawer and counter space. I have a dedicated drawer for everything: my eyeshadow palettes (they get the biggest drawer), eyeliners and mascaras, foundations and concealers, lipsticks (they take up a lot more than a drawer though), and bronzer/contour/highlighters/blush. HOLLA AT WAYFAIR FOR YOUR VANITY NEEDS.
Side note: the little basket thing that is next to my vanity is from IKEA and it is super awesome. I am keeping some jewelry, my makeup brushes and my hair tools like curling irons, flat irons and blowdryer. It is kind of a catch-all!
The Loveseat
Thank you, Wayfair! This loveseat is also an item sponsored by Wayfair. We love love love it. We actually love it so much, that we turned around and bought the matching couch for our living room. This is super comfortable, the color is super neutral, which means no matter how we change up the room it’s in, it will always match. The blanket and the grey loopy pillow is also from Wayfair. We can attest to the fact that this blanket is hands down the SOFTEST blanket that we have ever had. Izzy also loves it. So. Cat-approved.
The other pillow, the snowball pillow as we have affectionately named it, is not only my favorite pillow I’ve ever had, but it is also the most unique. That pretty thing came to us from Pier One as a sponsored product. We have bunch of other beautiful items from them as well, but they will have to wait until our kitchen tour. 😉
The Bookshelf
We love this thing but it took us about 12 times of trying to put it together before we actually got it right. Who can guess where this one is from? That’s right…IKEA. But in all seriousness, we love this thing. Most of our home has dark wood, so it goes really nicely with the lighter furniture in the room. It’s sturdy, well-made and holds all our many books. 10/10 would recommend.
Well, there you have it! My Home Tour: Makeup Room. I love this room. We had so much fun decorating it and I know for a fact that we will continue with wall decor as well. The light is here is so bright and perfect for reading, doing makeup or just playing with Izzy.

Cats are the absolute best!! I’ve had mine for seven years now, and he’s still the lovable, playful kitty when he was just a baby. I love your makeup room–and that tarte clay foundation! I’ve used it for the longest!

Hey! I love that white tier basket on the desk and the couch! However the brightness of the room is dreamy. My new favorite is the dining room. I revamped it and it has become a new hangout for me.

This room looks GORGEOUS! I love the pillows on the loveseat – I don’t have nearly enough pillows in my house. When I get my home office done I’m hoping to be able to have a little makeup station set up as well. My house is pretty tiny so I do my makeup in the bathroom right now but I hate it lol! In my old place I had my own vanity and I REALLY miss it.

Such a lovely bright room! Perfect for doing your makeup in! The dresser is gorgeous, Where I lived before we didnt have space for a dresser but as soon as we moved into our new bigger home I got one and it’s so nice to have space for everything!
