CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY, Y’ALL! Blonde & Ambitious has gotten a brand new look for the New Year – just in time Christmas. I am SO excited because it has been a loooong time coming. There are SO many new features to look at, pages to view + favorites to shop. Let’s take a look at all the new things on B&A!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS – BLONDE & AMBITIOUS GOT A FACELIFT!
The New Logo & Brand Colors:
Take a peek up top…it’s my new logo and all my pretty new brand colors! I opted to shift my old bright pink hues to a more muted light pink + coral. I love how they take on a more sophisticated and classic tone. I feel like B&A just hit puberty in the BEST way possible.
The Homepage:
Alright let’s dissect this fancy new home page.
Up top – we’ve got 3 main posts. These are themed for the month, and are usually the most popular posts of the moment. There will be one from each main category: Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle. These will be eye-catching and will change every 4 weeks.
Next up, we have the 4 blocks of coral watercolor. These are some fun highlights you may wanna check out! I’ve got some style hacks, makeup bag faves, monthly obsessions and travel guides right now, but these will also update periodically (most likely quarterly).
Right underneath those block is my most recent post column! This is where you will find all my most recent posts with featured images and a little excerpt. If you wanna see what’s new and catch up on the posts you might have missed over the last week, this is where you’ll wanna check!
Next to my recent post column is my homepage sidebar! You’ll find a little “about me” blurb so you can get to know me a tiny bit, my social icons + links so you can follow along on social media, my recent Instagram feed, + my affiliate disclosure. You may be wondering what that last little one means. An affiliate disclosure is letting you know that any links on my site may be affiliate links, which means I make a small commission on your purchase. This is at no cost to you and helps keep my site up and running for you!
Below the recent posts + side bar is my “currently loving” section! This is where you will find all my current loves in makeup + fashion (and occasionally some lifestyle). I’ll keep it up to date and it’ll change regularly. Check back to see if you missed anything new you NEED.
Following my Currently Loving section, is my “more” section. This is a collection of posts that are top favorites from the season in these categories. They will change every 2-3 months (less often than 4 weeks, but more often than once a quarter). They will be top favorites from my readers and be full of good information & guides. There will be 3 from each of my main categories!
Underneath my “more” section are two shop widgets and a makeup artist blurb. My shop widgets will change monthly and be vastly different from time to time. For now, they are Favorite Eyeshadows & Favorite Shoes. Always a good idea, amiright? The makeup artist blurb gives you a quick run down of my services, and then upon clicking, will take you to my full services page with prices + packages.
Below that, you’ll find a cute little stream of my IG feed and then some more helpful links!
The Shop Section:
This is a section that I am SO excited about. Here, you will find all my shop links in one helpful spot! You can shop:

- My Online Shopping Guide (a page of quick links so you can go to a specific store ASAP).
This will make it SO easy for you to shop my favorites, see what I’m currently wearing and using and these will be updated as the seasons change and as I shop & develop more faves.
