GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS. IT IS OFFICIAL OCTOBER AKA MY FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR. I AM SO SAD IT IS ONLY 31 DAYS LONG. SIGH. Anyways: it’s the best month of the year because #halloween and today is #beautymonday (Halloween edition) and I’ve got the THIRD installment of my Halloween Tutorial Series (see my previous two: Spooky Glam Scarecrow + Day of the Dead Sugar Skull): VOODOO DOLL. I have to say — this is my favorite spooky Halloween tutorial I’ve done to date and I’m REALLY proud of the beginning of this video (I may become an amateur horror movie producer after this, idk) SO. ENJOY AND I HOPE YOU RECREATE IT SO I CAN SHARE IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

So. This took me almost 2.5 hours to film, not gonna lie. I had SEVERAL technical difficulties (SIGH) and it was a tiny bit annoying to get all everything edited the way it needed to. BUT WE POWERED THROUGH AND IT TURNED OUT SUPA CREEPY AND TOTALLY AWESOME.

I feel like I’m really going to miss it once it’s over so maybe I’ll start over. LOL. If you haven’t been following along on my Twitter or Facebook page (you should definitely check them out), here is the recap of the last 7 days of my #100daysofmakeup challenge! It’s going to be a mix of fall themed / Halloween from here on out.

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial — it was so much fun to film and it was SO much fun to break into a little bit of body painting in addition to my face that I usually do. It was so much more detailed than I’ve ever done before and I absolutely LOVED pushing my boundaries a little bit. 🙂

  1. Great tutorial. It looks so lifelike! It’s kind of hard for me to look at because the stitching looks so real. And you invented a new word – spottled! I’m going to check out your other tutorials in your challenge.
