Hello, fabulous readers! I’m so glad you are back for another #beautymonday — Halloween edition. Every Monday and Thursday of October I am bringing you a spook-tacular Halloween makeup tutorial. Today’s look is a peeled back jack ‘o’ lantern! I am carving pumpkins this week — so it only seemed appropriate. I have been really loving optical illusions lately — so when I decided on this look, I wanted it to appear as if my skin was being peeled back to show my true colors (I bleed orange and black). Watch the video below and let me know your thoughts!!
Halloween Tutorial Series: Peeled Back Jack ‘O’ Lantern
I am starting to get REAL depressed that October is already halfway through. I love this month SO MUCH that 31 days hardly seems like enough time for me to get all my Halloween activities done!
If you’ve been following along with my 100 Days of Makeup challenge, you’ll know that we only have 15 more days left (it ends on the 31st of October). I am already sad about that, too. TOO MANY THINGS ARE ENDING.
In case you don’t follow along with my blog on Twitter or Facebook, and haven’t kept up to date with last weeks looks, here is a little recap for you:

Let me know if you liked this fun take on a jack ‘o’ lantern, and let me know what you’d like to see next. I regularly run polls on my Instagram to keep up to date with what you guys want to see — so be sure to check by there to get your opinion in! Last week, you guys voted on a Broken Doll tutorial so stay tuned to see that!!
I hope you all have a fabulous week – and check back tomorrow for an AMAZING organic deodorant that will knock your socks off.
Wow! Love it. I might try this out. Thanks for sharing love!
So glad you liked it, Tracey!!! It’s so easy — tag me in it if you recreate it so that I can see it!!
ANOTHER EPIC FACE. A++++++.
THANKS E.
How fun! What a wonderful idea!
I like this one too! Just when I think I’ve figured out which one to try to recreate, you share another one! I LOVE it. I’ll be so sad when Halloween is over.
Girl!!! This looks so good!!! I will try this Halloween look out
Super cool look! I wish i could do creative halloween makeup ….but no matter how many times i try …i look like a 5 year old did it lol
You girls who are this skilled with makeup always amaze me. And kudos with going the extra mile with the contact lens, too.
Ah this look so good! It’s always so fun to play around with makeup during halloween and the detail you added to make it look like it was peeled back looks awesome!
Omg, this is so creative and fun. I would never be able pull this off. Great job!
Omg, this is awesome! You’re so talented with makeup. I’d love to do something like this, but I’m not sure I have the skills, haha. 🙂
Oh my. This reminds me of what I did last year on my 1st Halloween here in US. And I think…I love to do this one for this year. Thanks for the idea. ????????????

This one is super unique girl!!! You’re so good! I also feel sad that October is almost over! Here in Denver some of the trees have already lost their leaves instead of being bright and beautiful. Im so sad! lol
Your make-up tutorials are absolutely stunning, Taylor! I love the peeled effect you created, looks so real!
ok.. this is just amazing… I could never ever ever ever ever do something like this! I can’t even make eyeliner even on both eyes. For realz 😉
