Happy #beautymonday!! Instead of a makeup tutorial, today we’ve got a HAIR tutorial!! I know you guys love these and this one is SO ridiculously easy, and it’s become a new go-to style because it literally takes LESS than 5 minutes to do if you know how to French braid (if you aren’t a pro, don’t worry, it’ll just take a bit longer to get the hang of it). I have been doing a traditional french braid with this style instead of my typical dutch braid and it’s been really fun switching it up. Watch below to see exactly how to get this cute, easy spring hairstyle!

Easy Spring Hairstyle Tutorial - Side French Braid!

I am pretty obsessed with how it turned out. A few alternatives ways to rock this: if you have long hair – trying doing a large messy bun to the side and pulling pieces around your face to create an INSTANTLY glamorous updo. When my hair was longer, I used to do that all the time for fancier events or date nights with Adam.

If you want something more casual – braid more of the hair down into a long side braid and then tug some pieces out to frame your face. Both are super easy to do with medium to long hair lengths. You have a few less options (mainly this one or this one but a dutch braid style) for shorter hair but it’s still SO cute. You can also opt to tuck the end of the braid in vs leaving it in a baby bun. SO MANY OPTIONS FOR ALL.

  1. I’m surprised this could even be done on such short hair! I’m chopping my hair off soon to shoulder length and I never seem to do much with it when it’s shorter except an occasional curl. I love your YouTube. I subscribed. 🙂 Thank you for sharing Taylor!
