Happy #BEAUTYMONDAY! It is my first FULL WEEK of being 24, so you could say I’m settling into being an adult pretty well. Because I clearly was not an adult prior to being 24. Those were my early 20s days. Now I’m in my mid-20s. Yikes. But, one thing that is still the same around here is my undying love for all things BoxyCharm. It’s my fave PR box to get during the month and I love reviewing them for you guys. This box didn’t have enough makeup products for me to do a full face review, so I’m just going to be going over the products and sharing what I thought this month! Let’s dive into this!
SHOP THIS POST:
BoxyCharm Unboxing + Review | January 2019
Roscaro Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray, 2oz – $12.00
If you are leave-in conditioner kind of person, you are going to LOVE this. It is ultra conditioning with coconut oil, rosehip oil and argan oil. I love it for detangling my hair after the shower (because if you have fine hair like me you’ll understand the tangle STRUGGLE), and I love that it has a built-in heat protectant because my blonde hair can be super fragile when it comes to hot tools. Another plus: no sulfates, no silicones, no parabens. Triple threat!
Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Miami Fever – $20.00
This color is super beautiful on medium to deep skin tones but I don’t LOVE it on my particular skin shade. It’s a STUNNING brown-orange brick shade but I am just to pale to pull it off in my opinion. It will probably gift this to a friend who has a skin tone better suited to this shade. As far as the formula goes, it’s SUCH a good one. It doesn’t really transfer (though I wouldn’t call it 100% transfer-proof), stays put throughout the day and it isn’t overly drying. I would rate this lipstick (formula-wise) at about a 7/10.
Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol. 1 – $36.00
This was a fun find! I love when I get full-sized eyeshadow palettes in my box. This is why I always say this box is PERFECT for those of you looking to grow your makeup collection because this isn’t the first full-sized eyeshadow palette I’ve received and it can really help to beef up a new makeup collection without spending an arm and a leg. I like Tarte’s eyeshadow formula, and this is a very pretty, neutral shadow palette. It would be a great palette to travel with in the summer because they all have a hint of shimmer, and would work on just about any skin tone to create a luminous, neutral look.
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Face Mask (2 Pack) – $24.00
I love Tatcha. It’s a super luxurious brand and they have fabulous skin care items. I am a HUGE mask fan. My hubs and I do them together all the time and they help keep my skin balanced and bright. This is a dewy skin face mask (the DREAM) so it infuses your skin with botanical oils, vitamin E, rice germ oil and essential fatty acids leaving you with a natural and healthy glow. I am HERE FOR IT. You feel so refreshed after using it. I will have to restock once I’m out of these.
Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil – $18.00
Not gonna lie: I was pretty skeptical that this was a “universal” brow shade. They state this is “carefully formulated to work perfectly with most skin tones and brow colors” and while I can’t speak for every skin tone, I can say it did look pretty dang good on my brows and I was surprised. It’s a self-sharpening pencil so you don’t have to sharpen it yourself, which is nice, PLUS it comes with a spoolie on the end to easily blend the product out. I found it easy to use and the color was really nice.
I hope, as always, that this review was super helpful in determining whether or not you want to become a subscriber to BoxyCharm OR help you figure out exactly how to use this month’s box if you already subscribe! I am such a subscription box junkie – I love them. They’re SO much fun for me to get and open every month, especially when I know they will be good products.

Of all the subscription boxes out there, this is the most tempting to me! All the products you got are perfect for my needs!
I love Boxy Charm too! I discovered a great illuminator from the subscription box, happy to know they like to introduce smaller brands on top of the well known ones.
I have been hearing about this quite a bit, but have yet to see a review on it! I loved everything in this box and the price point really isn’t too bad!
