24 Things You DON’T Know About ME!

Happy FRI-YAY! Tomorrow I turn 24 – which is CRAZY to me. I feel both young and old at the same time. I really liked being 22 and 23, but 24 is the year we bring our first little one into the world and truly settle into our first home with all our pets. I am HOPING this is my best year yet! Instead of doing my typical “x-things-I-learned-in-x-years” (because honestly they don’t change THAT much year to year), I decided to share 24 fun facts about me that you might not know about me. 🙂 I thought it would be fun to dive into who I am as a person and let you know a little more about me as a person!

24 Things You DON’T Know About ME!

One: I was in show choir and musicals all throughout high school! 

Two: Godiva Chocolate Pearls are my guilty pleasure.

Three: I’ve always wanted a house full of pets – and even started my college career as a pre-vet major! 

Four: Pink has been my favorite color for as long as I can remember!

Five: My favorite tv shows are Gossip Girl, Brooklyn 99, The Good Place and The Office. 

Six: I am not really a fan of other people’s kids. I wasn’t a baby sitter and I’ve never changed a diaper. Regardless – I am beyond excited to learn it all once I become a mama in July!

Seven: I never wanted to own my own business until it fell into my lap.

Eight: I celebrate a full BIRTHDAY WEEK instead of just the day – and I’m not sorry about it. 

Nine: Dishes are my least favorite chore and I will put it off as long as humanly possible.

Ten: I have been a Taylor Swift fan since I was in 7th grade. STILL her biggest fan

Eleven: I love to draw but rarely showcase anything I do because I don’t think they’re good enough.

Twelve: If I could be any animal in the world – it would be a house cat. They live the LIFE.

Thirteen: I’m a real life speed reader. I discovered this when I found out not everyone skips over non-essential words in their heads.

Fourteen: I can whistle 3 different ways – the normal way, through my teeth, and with my hands.

Fifteen: I want to be a world traveler with my family. I’d love to go to a new country once a year if we are able to.

Sixteen: I have certain phrases I get stuck on saying for a few months and then pick a new one.

Seventeen: Adam and I’s first date was “stargazing” but he forgot to check the weather and we stood outside looking at clouds and talking for hours and hours instead.

Eighteen: I’m not a HUGE sweets person – but I never say no to cheesecake.

Nineteen: After I got my wisdom teeth out and was coming out of recovery, I thought my feet were missing . #whoops

Twenty: I’m allergic to latex and pineapple!

Twenty One: I hate time wasting. Whether from a task or because of a person – It’s my biggest pet peeve.

Twenty Two: I am horrible at picking up different languages. My husband is fluent is English and Spanish (and dabbles in a few others) and I’ve only got English.

Twenty Three: I have a thing about “collections” of things. I have to have full book sets, makeup collections, etc. I don’t like feeling incomplete.

Twenty Four: I love learning – I wish I could take classes and learn new skills forever and ever!

This was so much fun to do – I could have kept writing forever! I love sharing things with you guys. It’s so much fun to be able to let you in on little parts of my life. I am SO excited to be 24 and take on this next year of my life.
