Haaaappy #FASHIONWEDNESDAY! I have been loving classic looks lately because I have really been wanting to buy pieces that I can actually wear for more than a season. Trendy looks are fun, and I love to pepper my wardrobe with a few bright pieces but mostly, I want my closet to be filled with things that will actually last more than one season. Today I’m going to go over how to style this black & white chic outfit with the help of Restricted Shoes (+ a discount code at the end for you)! ALSOOOO. This post was shot by Erin Stubblefield, a super talented local photographer. She and I will be working together a lot more (YAY) and I can’t wait to show you more of our collaborations. For the time being, enjoy today’s pretty pictures and show some love on her website HERE. Let’s jump into it.

Style Tip #1: Perfect The Half Tuck

Black & White Chic

This trick is literally my absolute favorite. This top is a loose-fitting piece from Pulse Fashion, and in order to make it look a little more fitted and fashionable (as opposed to a bag on my body), I do the half tuck. I just take the front part of the shirt and partially tuck it behind the button of my jeans (also from Pulse Fashion) . For some reason, it really pulls an outfit together.

Style Tip #2: Add A Bold Lip

Black & White Chic

Gosh, how many times am I going to give this tip amiright? BUT SERIOUSLY. Adding a bold lip is the biggest trick to looking totally put together. I love love love this hot pink lip with the black & white outfit.  Because the entire outfit is duo chrome, this adds that POP you really need to look like you spent more than 5 minutes in front of the mirror this morning (even if you didn’t — nobody needs to know)!

Style Tip #3: The Right Pair of Shoes

Black & White Chic

As Cinderella would say, the right pair of shoes can change a girl’s life. These ones have quickly become one of my favorite pairs. The Kailani heels are CRAZY comfortable. I’m not kidding. I don’t even feel like I’m wearing heels. I wore these for hours during this photoshoot and I barely felt a thing. The scalloped details on the straps are absolutely adorable. I keep finding excuses to throw them on and go. Now all I need is a good pedicure to top it all off!
