American Eagle + Aerie March 2020 TRY-ON HAUL

Happy #fashionwednesday, everyone!!! I hopped by American Eagle and Aerie this weekend to take a look at their spring collections because everything just dropped and I wanted to see if the products were good enough for you guys to buy, and which looks I liked best! I’ve got 8 different outfits below with sizing, links and my measurements for reference! Plus peep tiny baby Jack playing in the background of some these pictures. Let’s dive into this!

American Eagle + Aerie March 2020 TRY-ON HAUL

I am 5’6 and 130lbs. I typically wear a small (for a true fit) or medium (if I want an oversized fit) in tops/dresses/jumpsuits. I typically wear a 4/6 in bottoms/skirts.

Aerie Boyfriend Distressed Oversized Tee – $18

I LOVED this tee! I am wearing this in a size medium. It was the perfect size to tie up in a knot. Loved it paired with these weekend joggers. They have 18 colors to choose from and it’s long enough to cover your butt to wear with leggings.

Aerie Weekend Jogger – $28

These joggers are SO SOFT. I love that they sit low on the hips (I prefer my sweatpants to sit low and my jeans to sit high). These are in a size small and are STILL oversized. I loved these and will be living in them. There are 6 colors to choose from.

AE Shortsleeved Surplice Jumpsuit – $45

This is adorable. It’s super light weight so it’ll be perfect as it warms up. I love the linen feel here and the flowy sleeves. It cinches your waist in a very flattering way. I am wearing a size small.

AE Soft Plush Waffle Long Sleeve Shirt – $20

This waffle long sleeve shirt is AMAZING. IT IS SO SO SO SOFT. I will never take it off. You can pry it out of my hands. Tyvm. I love how loose it is. There are 7 colors to choose from and this is one that will be great as a transition piece. It will look really cute with jeans, leggings OR shorts! 

AE High Waisted Paper Bag Tapered Pants – $30

I am wearing a small in these and they’re PERFECT. They come right up to my true waist and the buttons are a really cute detail. The hem hits right at my ankle, so it’ll be really flattering with a low heel or heeled sandal. It’s a great comfortable pant that you can throw on to look put together quickly.

AE Oversized Fleece Vintage Crewneck Sweatshirt – $35

This sweatshirt comes in 8 colors! I am wearing an EXTRA SMALL here – so that tells you how oversized this is. Definitely don’t size up with this one unless you want to drown. It’s super soft, very comfy and perfect to throw on with leggings.

AE Perfect Spring Sweater – $40

I think this sweater is my favorite from this try on haul. It’s SO CUTE – it tucks perfectly with my denim and is just the right length for crop. There are 4 colors to choose from and I am wearing a size small. It’s a great length in the sleeves, and it is lightweight enough that it’ll be great to transition from winter to spring.

AE Fleece Cinched Crew Neck Sweatshirt – $35

I’m a HUGE fan of cinched sweatshirts. They’re great for adding a more flattering silhouette on a sweatshirt. There are four colors available and I am a size small in this sweatshirt, but honestly I think a medium would be cute, too. It looks PERFECT with shorts.

AE Fleece Quarter Zip Sweatshirt – $35

This was my least favorite thing I tried on, but even then it still is pretty cute. It’s got a pretty bulky and boxy cut which works for some people but makes my torso look a little funny. It was, however, extremely soft and comfortable. It would be great for lounging around the house. I’m wearing a small here.

I really loved their spring faves. There were so many things I didn’t even get to try in the store either because they didn’t have my size or preferred color, too – but are available online. It’s definitely worth checking out if you need some new spring stuff. ALSO – if you need a really good pair of mom or boyfriend denim – their mom jeans are AMAZING. I’m totally in love with how they fit. I bought a 4 and they fit perfectly (I’m generally a 4 in other stores as well).
