HI FRIENDS. I know how weird and crazy the time is right now – hello quarantine – and we are all stuck at home. Gyms are closed – so a lot of us are having to do our workouts at home. I decided to motivate myself to get some workouts done – so I ordered some cute workout clothes from Target! I needed new sports bras anyways because I haven’t had one that fit me since basically I got pregnant with Jack. My boobs have pretty much doubled in size since that point, and I just hadn’t upgraded my sports bras to fit my pregnant/nursing chest size. SO. It was much needed. Check out what I ordered + how I feel about the quality below:

Affordable WORKOUT Haul

*FOR REFERENCE: I am 5’6 and 130lbs. I wear a 34D bra size. I am a size 4/6 in pants and usually wear a size small (or size up to medium for a loose fit)

Camo Print Sculpted High-Rise Capri Leggings – $32 | Camo Print High Support Zip Front Bra – $24

I. am. obsessed. with this set. This is my favorite set that I ordered *spoiler* – for a few reasons: 1. the quality is REALLY NICE. The leggings are really thick and really hold you in place without being suffocating. I like the capri length and the high waist. They aren’t see-through when I bend over which, while it doesn’t really matter for when I’m home, will matter when I get back to the gym at some point. The sports bra feels WAY MORE expensive than it actually is. I love the zip up the front – it’s cute, it is nice to be able to adjust the amount of hold the bra has on my boobs. I can loosen or tighten depending on what I’m doing. I purchased the top in a medium and the leggings in a small. I could have sized up comfortably on both, I would say they run a little on the smaller side.

Marble Print Contour Power Waist High-Rise 7/8 Leggings 24″ – $28 | Printed Low Support Strappy Long Line Bra – $16

These leggings are FANTASTIC as tummy control and slimming. They are so comfortable, non-see through and they sit at the exact right spot on your waist. The length is also good – right at mid-calf. This is a set I’d wear out with like a loose sweatshirt overtop. It’s very atheisure-chic in a way that takes this set from the gym to running errands. It’s like my perfect starbucks-target-gym outfit. One day when we can leave the house again. The bra is also super cute – I LOVE the strappy detailing. This bra is NOT as supportive at the camo print bra, so this is one I’d do light workouts or yoga in (I don’t think it can withstand my boobs during an intense cardio workout). The price point for both of these pieces are really great – and they are good quality for the price. I got a size small in the leggings and a medium in the bra and it was the PERFECT fit. I’m glad I didn’t get a bigger size in the leggings.

Camo Print 7/8 High-Waisted Leggings – JoyLab™ – $35 | Strappy Bra – JoyLab™ – $20

This set says camo – but honestly it’s really like a tie dye pattern which I love!! This set is so trendy because tie dye is VERY in right now. I love to see it. These leggings are the most expensive of the three, but in my opinion these leggings are the thinnest pair. They are vaguely see through if you bend over – so don’t wear dark underwear with them. But other than that, they are really soft and comfortable! The bra is super cute, but about the same support as the bra above. Not nearly as supportive as the camo bra so it would be perfect for low intensity workouts or yoga. Same as above – medium in bra and small in leggings and it was an exact fit. I’d say this is perfectly TTS.

High Waist Bike Shorts with Pocket – $13

I actually REALLY love how flattering these are. They were super cheap online so I snagged a black pair, and I will probably end up buying the tie dye pair, too! I LOVE that they have a pocket and the length is honestly perfect. They are not padded like my expensive bike shorts – so they aren’t going to help if you really do need extra padding while biking. I mainly bought mine as more of a fashion statement / walking shorts for the neighborhood walks I take with Jack. My ONLY complaint is that the material is cotton / not super forgiving like spandex or something stretchy. It will probably pill / fall apart a little faster than something else BUT I don’t mind too much considering the price tag. I wanted to try a pair out before splurging on something more expensive. I bought a size small, and they fit really well without being too tight. TTS.

Under Armour Play Up Shorts 3.0 – Grey + Black – $19

I LOVE THESE and the quality is fantastic. I am a big Under Armour fan – they have some of my favorite workout gear. These shorts are awesome, breathable and flattering. I plan on wearing these for walking in the neighborhood and at-home workouts. The material seems like it’s going to hold up well for a while and it comes in lots of colors. I purchased the True Grey Heather and the Black + White pairs. I got a size small in these and definitely wouldn’t size up! They fit great and aren’t too tight on my waist.

Tek Gear® Racerback Tank – White + Black – $10

These tanks are AWESOME. They’re super lightweight, breathable cotton material. They seem well made, and they are literally less than $10. Got the white and black colors – but they come in lot of colors! I like that they have long arm openings because I hate when I feel sweaty in tank tops. I went with a size small, but even a medium would have been ok! They are loose without being unflattering.

I love these pieces – and I’m super glad I have these fun sets in my collection now! All of the pieces can be worn with my black leggings, too – so I can switch up the sets if I need, too. They’re cute, they’re functional and best of all: They’re affordable!!

If you need a little pick me up to encourage you to get some workouts done at home. I will have a really easy 45 minute workout routine coming out next week – so stay tuned for that!
