Happy HUMP Day, everyone! With the weather cooling down, it’s time to grab all of our chilly weather essentials and snuggle in for the season. This is my favorite time of year – when you need extra fuzzy blankets on the bed, a sweatshirt and leggings, a cup of hot something. Honestly, I cannot think of anything better! Today, I am going to be sharing FIVE of my top sweater weather products. It’s everything you need to get a head start on winter. Let’s dive into this.

Original Ginger Chews and Ginger Honey Crystals from Prince of Peace #POPGinger

I’m a big fan of ginger – I use it when I cook, in my tea, when I’m sick. It has SO many medicinal qualities and I know as the weather starts to turn, I’m going to need to be prepared for the onslaught of head colds coming my way. Prince of Peace ginger chews are perfect if you are craving a little sweet and a little spice all wrapped up in one yummy treat. They’re made with natural ingredients like sugar, tapioca starch, coconut oil and ginger. I like to keep a few individually wrapped pieces in my purse for on the go. The ginger honey crystals are FANTASTIC when put in your tea. They create a totally flavorful cup that is PERFECT for chilly weather. It combines 12 grams of raw ginger and natural honey to create a smooth, delicious drink you can enjoy any time. I am a FAN. PLUS – if you didn’t know – Ginger is an incredible anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich ingredient that can keep you on your best game during the winter. It has a lot of good-for-you compounds like gingerols, beta-carotene, capsaicin, caffeic acid, curcumin, and salicylate. For my non-biochem people, that translates to these amazing benefits: digestion support, comforting upset stomachs, anti-inflammatory, and literally warms up your body from the inside out!! Cropped Waffle-Knit Tee and Washed-Terry Champ Sweatshirt from Alternative Apparel

Ok. I had never tried this brand before I got it in my BabbleBoxx but I’m 150% converted. This cotton sweatshirt is light but still warm and TOTALLY flattering. I wore it to the pumpkin patch with Jack paired with leggings and a cute, cozy scarf and it was absolutely PERFECT. It’s the easiest thing to throw on when you want to look cute with minimal effort. It’s super soft, a unisex style so it’ll flatter anyone and it comes in a BUNCH of rich colors. This cropped thermal tee is one of my all-time favorite pieces. It’s great for layering – I love it with my high-waisted leggings and jeans and a long-sleeved jacket. It’s light enough that you won’t sweat to death in the changing seasons, but warm enough that you aren’t going to freeze either.

Cold Sore Treatment from Campho-Phenique®

I KNOW nobody wants to talk about cold sores. I get it. But unfortunately (for me), they are a reality during the cold winter months. The Campho-Phenique® cold sore treatment is one of the best. It has max concentrations of BOTH active ingredients so that you get relief from your symptoms fast, and it helps to prevent a secondary infection. It is a clear gel that absorbs quickly into your skin without showing so that you can get on with your day! AND there is always a coupon available to use on the Campho website (via coupons.com) because we love not paying full price for anything here!

Ecosmart Sweats from Hanes

Hanes is a STAPLE in sweats in our house. I love their sweatshirts and Adam loves Hanes t-shirts. These Hanes Ecosmart sweats are now repeats in my closet: full-zip hoodie sweatshirt and cinch bottom leg sweatpants. I won’t lie, I rarely get fully dressed these days with a 4 month old. He and I often chill in the house during the day so comfort is KEY. In addition to being COMFY ALL DAY, I want to make sure that my carbon footprint is as small as possible these days. That’s why I LOVE that these Ecosmart pieces are made from 10% recycles polyester from plastic bottles AND made from 50% renewable energy sources. Hanes is proud to be an Energy Star Partner. I really feel good about wearing these sweats because they wear well, they wash well, and they are good for the environment. Win, win, win.

ORMEDIC Balancing Facial Cleanser and ORMEDIC Balancing Gel Polisher from IMAGE Skincare

I try a LOT of skincare. If you have been following my IG, I am going to start sharing a LOT more skincare. That means I try new products all the time – I am doing my best to find you guys the best products on the market AND the best products for my current oily and acne prone skin. These two products are very impressive. The Balancing Facial Cleanser is very gentle and has a fresh scent (which I personally prefer – I don’t like overly scented products). It also leaves my skin feeling hydrated vs tight and dry. The Balancing Gel Polisher a 3-in-1 product, with physical, enzymatic and AHA exfoliation. It’s gentle enough that you can use it every day audit promotes even skin tone.

I have REALLY enjoyed each of these items – they really do promote a fabulously cozy chilly season. I am completely converted to Alternative Apparel – so IMPRESSED with the quality. I love the ginger honey crystals in my tea this time of year. And truly – if you are looking for a good everyday exfoliator, the balancing gel polisher is an awesome choice.
