If you’re planning a girls trip to Nashville and want to do all the fun things without feeling overwhelmed (or fighting massive crowds), this is the itinerary for you. Our group went mid-week—arriving on a Wednesday—and it made all the difference. We got to enjoy the city without long lines or wall-to-wall crowds. Wednesday night felt calm and low-key, while Thursday picked up the energy and gave us the classic Nashville fun we were craving.

Here’s how we made the most of three days in Music City:

shop my outfits from the trip:

Day One: Broadway Dancing & Barbie Dreams

We checked into the Nashville Dollhouse Airbnb, which is just as extra and fabulous as it sounds. Think all-pink everything, neon signs, and enough beds for everyone to crash comfortably post-Broadway.

Then we hit Broadway for a night of dancing. Our favorite bars were:

📍 Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa – super vibey rooftop, GREAT bands. We ended up going back here three separate times over the two days we were on Broadway.

📍 Ole Red – great live music! We loved the huge stage here.

📍Wild Beaver – sticky floors, mechanical bull & karaoke. This is the definition of a dive bar but it was SO much fun.

📍 Morgan Wallen’s This Bar – a must for the country fans! Drinks were great and the rooftop view was awesome.

None of us drink alcohol, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of non-alcoholic options available to us. It was easy to enjoy the scene without pressure.

Day Two: Food, Shopping & More Dancing

This was our “pack it in” day and it fully delivered.

Brunch was at Frothy Monkey (get the omelet and iced vanilla latte and thank me later), followed by a stop at Five Daughters Bakery—yes, the hype is real. Their 100-layer donuts are unreal and my favorite was the cinnamon sugar! We shopped the iconic 12 South area for cute finds like Draper James, I grabbed the cutest little Nashville souvenir with a custom bag at Stoney Clover and popped into Molly Green, my fave clothing store of the day.

Then, we grabbed lunch at Pinewood Social (bring your swimsuits for a dip in the outdoor dipping pools!). Pinewood was SUCH a fun vibe. We laid out at the pool with mocktails and French fries for almost 3 hours. Note: you should definitely make a reservation for this restaurant.

We ate dinner back at our Airbnb to save time and $$, then got ourselves ready for our night out and headed out for a second round of Broadway dancing. Favorites this time:

📍 Category 10 – fun crowd, great music, LINE DANCING! Bonus: if you don’t know any line dances, they teach you as you go.

📍 Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar – gorgeous views and yummy drinks

We went back to Miranda Lamberts Casa Rosa this night as well, and hit Ole Red again, too. We loved being able to bop around to all the different bars.

To cap off the night, we went to Legendairy Milkshake Bar and yes, the milkshakes are massive and Instagram-worthy.

Day Three: Boutique Shopping & Rooftop Sipping

Our final day started with another stop at Five Daughters Bakery (don’t judge us) and then more shopping and browsing in The Gulch. We hit:

Finnleys – trendy + affordable (we actually went here on day two at their 12 south location but loved it so much we went to round two in the gulch).

Rustler Hat Co. – hat heaven, but definitely pricey. Hats START at $125 and you can easily spend a few hundred $$$ here.

Lucchese Bootmaker – classic western boots that are chef’s kiss. Another browse shop. The boots are beautiful but $$$.

We wrapped things up with drinks at White Limozeen—Dolly Parton’s rooftop bar. It’s the ultra-pink bar, eats and pool on top of the Graduate Hotel. This place is a whole aesthetic. The views, the pool, the menu—it’s iconic. And yes, they have mocktails, too. They’re gorgeous and I highly recommend the Keep It Cool cocktail (gorgeous AND delicious).

TL;DR: Come mid-week. Wear the boots. Order the mocktail. Dance your heart out. And don’t sleep on that donut!!!!
