Happy #fashionwednesday, pretty people! I am testing out a new segment on B&A: Trend To Try. If I see it hanging around, I plan on trying it out and posting it here for you to vote yay or nay on. Let’s try something that caught my eye recently: lavender + white, the prettiest pastel duo. I personally love lavender. It is soft, flatters virtually every skin tone and works for almost every season (but especially spring and summer). I tested this look out with the sweetest floral dress and have linked to a TON of other GORGEOUS outfits that fit the bill for this trend so you can test it out for yourself. Let’s dive into it.
Trend To Try: Lavender & White
I have already told you, I’m a huuuuuge fan of lavender, and white is also one of my favfavfav colors. I love this wrap dress because it is completely stunning (you can find the exact one here). It is figure flattering, which you know I love, and it has just the right balance of lavender flowers.
SHOP THIS OUTFIT:
Another way to wear this trend is with an all-lavender dress. There are TONS to choose from. I am currently looking for one to wear to my best friends wedding (it’s in TWO WEEKS and I’m so so so so excited). I found a ton of beautiful fancy lavender dresses to try, but you can also tone it down with a lavender t-shirt dress or something right in the middle like the one I’m styling in this post.
SHOP LAVENDER DRESSES:
Lavender tops don’t like to be left out, and they’re totally making a statement. Completely stunning, this is the most casual way to wear this look. Anthro had like a ton of them so I linked my favorites before. I love the idea of doing a bell-sleeved lavender top with white skinny jeans. There is something about that combo that yells HEYYYY IT’S SUMMER to me. #obsessed
SHOP LAVENDER + WHITE TOPS:
If you are looking for a more subtle way to show your lavender pride, shoes are the way to go. These are understated, but still completely gorgeous. I lovelovelove pops of color in the shoe dept. Try pairing white jeans and a chambray top with lavender heels to create a feminine it-girl kind of look. Hello, gorgeous…goodbye boring!
SHOP LAVENDER + WHITE SHOES:
Handbags are another option if you are wanting more subtle pops of color. These Kate Spade + Coach bags are completely to die for. It isn’t a secret that these are my two favorite hand bag companies (no lie), and I was enthralled to find out they had a HUGE variety of purple and white handbags to choose from. They are classic and girlie, the perfect touch to any neutral outfit.
