Hey hey party people. Today is a good day because 1. It is my 9 month anniversary of being married and 2. 10 days until I turn TWENTY-TWO! What a Monday, amiright? I love love love #BEAUTYMONDAY because I get to share my favorite makeup with you!! I’m currently giving my makeup room a TOTAL MAKEOVER so stay tuned for that. Ya’ll are gonna DIE. *insert super loud obnoxious excited squeals* Today, I am going to do a Tarteist Pro Glow + Pro Eye Palette Review. It’s safe to say I’m o b s e s s e d. Let’s talk about it.

Tarteist Pro Glow + Pro Eye Palette Review

Tarteist Pro Glow Palette

So, I honestly didn’t think I was going to use this that often because I’ve been really digging my Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit. Now I use them with each other. I already knew the highlighters were going to be a smash hit because in my Paint Box by Tarte, I’ve been LOVING the formula of the highlighter that is included there.

I also wasn’t concerned about the powdered bronzer included because I’ve been using the Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess for Y E A R S. But, I was curious about their cream contour shade. Since I haven’t tried cream products by them, I was interested in seeing how it held up against my ABH cream contour shades. Turns out, they both look + last about the same. The consistency is incredibly similar, and the color pay off is dang near identical.

Overall impression? I really like it. Do I think it is a complete necessity in every makeup box? Maybe if you travel often and want to have your items as compact as possible. I will absolutely take this when I travel and leave the ABH contour kit at home. It is just easier to bring the highlighter, powder bronzer and cream contour in one case. 8/10. I took points away for being a tiny bit redundant when compared to all of the other similar products like this that are out there.

Tarteist Pro Eyeshadow Palette

O. M. G. I haven’t stopped squealing about this palette. Ya’ll know how I feel about Tarte’s eyeshadows. Please review these posts herehere and here if you want to hear more about my love affair with this makeup brand. Since I got the Paint Box for Christmas, I do have a few overlapping colors. I was, however, STOKED about the burnt orange colors that are included in this palette, as well as the STUNNING metallic shades on the side.

I wouldn’t say this is a completely original palette, but the colors cover a wide variety. That means if I’m traveling with this palette, I can pretty much guarantee that I won’t need to bring any other eyeshadows. They have neutrals, but throw in the pops of color.

As always, the quality of these shadows are super amazing. Buttery, blendable, crazy pigmented. I now have the Tartelette In Bloom, Paint Box and Tarteist Pro palettes by Tarte. AKA I’m addicted and can’t stop won’t stop. If you are looking for a one-stop palette, I would highly recommend picking this one up. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends.

I hope that this review helped you and introduced you to some awesome new makeup and inspiration. I know I can never buy makeup without scouring every beauty bloggers reviews on it. Why waste your money right???

  1. I love that eye shadow palette! I’m a big fan of Urban Decay’s eye shadow – how do you compare Tarte? I’m making an Ulta run this week and might need to invest 🙂

    1. I think that Tarte’s MATTE eyeshadow is better quality in blendability and pigmentation than UD. — but UD have better shimmy/metallics. Since this palette is almost entirely matte, it’s PERFECT.

  2. I’ve heard such great things about the Tarteist Pro Glow Palette! It’s been in my Sephora shopping cart for a few weeks now, but I haven’t bought it yet. It’ll definitely be in my next haul though. The colors look so pretty!
