Happy Tuesday, friends!! It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day for everyone planning on celebrating and this particular holiday tends to be known for it’s alcoholic beverages and all night long parties. For those of us who 1) choose not to drink or 2) are pregnant or 3) have underage kiddos – I thought I’d share with you 10 of my favorite St. Patty’s Day mocktails so that you can enjoy the party and feel fancy AF without getting boozy for real. I did this last year for Valentine’s Day and it was a HUGE hit – so I’m bringing it back again. Let’s jump right into these festive and delicious mocktails for St. Patrick’s Day!
7 Non-Alcoholic Mocktails For St. Patrick’s Day
ONE: Classic No-Jito (my own drink recipe)
This one is my all time favorite and a summer staple for me. I am rarely seen at the pool without it. BUT because it’s got that green mint – I figured it was perfect for St. Patty’s Day, too! PLUS it’s super easy to put together:
Ingredients: Mint, Sprite, Lime
Instructions: Crush mint at the bottom of the glass and then squeeze in a 1/4 of a lime. Pour sprite over top, and then mix. Toss in lime wedge to garnish!
TWO: Sparkling Cucumber Limeaid (by Taste & Tell)
This is a drink I wasn’t sure I’d like because of the cucumber BUT the flavors actually come together in a super yummy way. It’s a new twist on a mojito type drink and I really like it. Click HERE to get the ingredients + instructions.
THREE: Lemon Basil Daquiri (my own twist on The Merrythought’s classic)
I am big daiquiri girl. I love strawberry daiquiris SO MUCH. They are another summer fave of mine. This one is so different because of the basil. I add basil to my smoothies and other sweet treats because I love the addition of that little bite. I took The Merrythought’s original recipe but instead of the 1 tbsp of water, I do 1 tbsp of sprite. It adds a little bit of a sparkle to the drink! Click HERE to get the ingredients + instructions.
FOUR: Vanilla Mint Milkshake (by Jelly Toast)
This is a milkshake not a mocktail, but it’s green and it’s delicious. It looks super cute in a little mason jar with a bit of whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. I loved the taste of this recipe so I haven’t changed it at all. Click HERE to get the ingredients + instructions.
FIVE: Moscow Mule Mocktails (by The Merrythought)
You need copper mugs to complete this full look!! They are so cute and also YUMMY. If you are a lover of a ginger beer – this drink is for you!! I haven’t always loved it but the flavor of this drink has really grown on me. It’s got a bite, but that lime + club soda help take it down a notch and it’s genuinely a drink that just makes you feel warm. Click HERE to get the ingredients + instructions.
SIX: Green Sherbet Punch (my own drink recipe)
This is a GREAT one if you are having a bunch of people over because it sits in a big punch bowl and makes a ton so you have plenty for your party. It’s yummy, very lime-y and ridiculously easy to make. 10/10.
Ingredients: Lime sherbet, sprite, green kool-aid mix and lemonade
Instructions: Combine sprite, koolaid mix and lemonade into the bowl, and then top with lime sherbet. You can put it directly in the bowl, or serve in individual glasses.
SEVEN: Sparkling Cider Rainbow Sherbet Floats (by Cupcakes & Kale Chips)
This is my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow drink! It’s not green but still totally appropriate. You use rainbow sherbet (my literally favorite), rainbow glitter sprinkles for the rim, and sparkling cider for the base. I like when they are topped with orange and lime slices on the rim. SO CUTE. These are so easy to make, super yummy and look just as pretty as those real life cocktails everyone else is going to be sipping on! I love holding a fancy glass in my hand and having something delicious to drink but as I don’t drink alcohol even when I’m NOT pregnant, I have had to improvise just a bit when it comes to what’s chilling in my glass.
I hope you enjoyed these suggestions! Let me know your favorite St. P Day drink in the comments below!
These drinks all sound amazing!! I really want to try that milkshake, I LOVE the McDonald’s Shamrock Shake.
